Using notifications are a great way to communicate on a job and keeping the history of the same. One frustration I have is when a new note is created I get a notification to tell me a new note has been added but I do not know what the subject of the new notification is from my on screen notification. This can be a problem as some notifications take only a few moments of my time whilst others require me to set aside a substantial amount of time, but I cant tell which it is from the on screen notification. Once i click the onscreen notification, if i don't have time to deal with it right away, i will need to keep track of this elsewhere. Had i known what the subject was I would leave it on my list until i have set aside enough time. [i am aware that when we use "add a comment", the note title WILL appear in the on screen notification].I know i could use the email version to keep track but that has it own set of issues. Is there any way of showing the name of the new note upon adding or alternatively more flexibility on who receives this first notification (eg minimal) as opposed to comments subsequently made to the notification (eg a wider audience)?
