Appreciate all the feedback and ongoing support here. We recognise the main areas this has been asked across are invoices, bills, contacts, bank statements, and reports. Also it appears there are some users here that’d like to navigate between pages of a list while others that’d like to open transactions and navigate back to their placing on a list.
For moving between pages of a list, there are a couple of other features that may be useful, such as;
Increasing the # of items that are shown per page (available from the bottom of the page)
On many devices you’ll find ‘End’ and ‘Home’ keys that allow you to quickly navigate to the bottom and top of a page which could also save effort in scrolling the page
Within reports you’ll find the bottom navigation is now frozen so regardless where you are on the page of a report you’ll always have these options visible and selectable.
For opening of transactions though not available in all areas, within Bills we’ve released a quick view and edit. Enabling you to make changes to transactions on the fly without having to navigate away from the list which may help for some atm.
We’ll consider how we can incorporate these features across other areas of Xero as we keep developing Xero, however want to be open that this isn’t planned in our roadmaps currently.
For the meantime, right clicking and opening a transaction in another browser tab would save having to navigate away from the list.
As navigating pages would be developed separately in each area of Xero, it's most useful for our product teams to gauge interest in each idea separately. This function would be extremely helpful now that you have increased the bank statement lines available on one screen. It is a pain to scroll to the bottom of the page each time to move onto the next.
Quickbooks have this function which means that you should be able to as well!!!!
