Thanks for continuing to engage with us on this, everyone. While it is now possible to include account numbers, as mentioned in our last update we've been continuing to review this idea and look into how we develop the option to show nil balance for accounts when running reports.
Work for this is now in development with our product team. We'll be looking to implement a solution that enables the ability to show nil balance for accounts across the Profit & Loss (Income Statement), Statement of Cash Flows - Direct Method, Trial Balance, Cash Summary, Movements in Equity, Blank report as well as in Report Templates.
As work for this progresses we'll keep you all informed and updated through the idea here.

When trying to consolidate 45 different companies into excel, we need a report that comes out consistently every time. Xero fails to understand that its system is essentially a database and should be capable of extracting data as such.
They have tried to dumb it down so much to cater for non-accountants, that it is useless for accountants and analystsKylie Harder supported this idea · -

Hi everyone, we're pleased to share an update for attaching files to Fixed Assets as we near the cusp of the year! We have just started rolling out this capability to users. 😊
While this'll slowly be released to all organisations using new Fixed Assets over the next few weeks, see a peek of what this looks like below - Once available, you'll find the 'Attach files' button at the top right when editing an individual asset. You can either select to Upload files from your device or files library, or simply drag & drop files to the upload modal.
I'll be back to confirm when it's out to all organisations with our new Fixed Assets experience.
