We appreciate all your support and sharing on your needs in backorders through this idea.
Our product team have been working away to refresh purchase orders which'll be released over the coming months.
Work for negative inventory is also in progress, and our team are looking at how this flow works through to sales invoices for backorders. 😊

Thanks for the on-going support in this idea, everyone. We're pleased to share that work in inventory and purchase orders is moving along well.
As noted in our last update, work for negative inventory is in progress, and our team are looking at how this flow works through to sales invoices for backorders. We'll share more as soon as there's news.
An error occurred while saving the comment We use backorder all the time because sales are always made before supplier invoicing.

back order / negative inventory is basic in netsuite
we need this function becuase we sell items before purchase from supplier.
