    I totally agree with you guys, Xero is should reconciling it when GoCardless send the report. Looking into the dashboard from Xero you have a perspective that everyone paid when it wasn't true. Also I good future for that it would be adding an automatic fee when customers failed the direct debit. We have this T&Cs, but since we automatized the direct debit I wasn't able to add it unless I cancel the payment and add it manually. It is quite backdate this part of the system from Xero.
