    I COMPLETELY agree with this. What is the use on having a Contact Account Number if you cannot use it in the reports you need. I have to download the payments taken each day and I cannot use the Customer Account Number to filter or upload to our bank.
    Sometimes the Customer Name is too long to use in softwares and they cannot locate them. I need their account number to make this process easier.
    This is one area that I believe Xero is very much lacking!

    100%!!!!
    It is SO easy to accidentally hit the delete icon. We transferred an important document from our old invoicing system to a contact account. Then when someone accidentally deleted it a year later, we had to PAY to get access to our old invoicing system in order to retrieve it.
    We should be able to feel more secure with our documents Xero!
