I have repeatedly raised this issue with Xero. This is ruining my business reputation as it makes us out to be money grabbers. How we invoice our clients is a delicate business and I only want the invoice amount appearing in the invoice, not in the main email (which very often is sent to the customer contact and not the accounts team).

Hi Jacqui, when you refer to the Invoice Cover note would this be the email that is sent to the customer or within the attached invoice (online or PDF). If the latter you can use Invoice templates to customise the look of an invoice to your customer.

So this has been requested for over a year now (since you first stopped us having control over it, which we used to have with the previous version of invoicing). We are paying more than ever now for Xero and you apparently have "delivered 75 of your most-requested product ideas" this quarter. We are still waiting for this one to be resolved. Absolutely unacceptable that it has not been addressed yet.
