Hi team, thanks for sharing with us on this idea. I'm pleased to share that this is something our product teams have plans to work on developing into the quick view of an invoice (from the list) soon. I'll keep you updated of further progress, here.

This would save me from clicking on transactions to confirm invoice attachment when reviewing a file.

Hi Xero, can you have a look at how QBO handles this. If QBO can have a pop-up window whenever a new contact name is being entered either as a new invoice, a new bill or from the bank feed as a cash transaction, then you should be able to also.
I'd also urge you to make sure that the basic contact details are fields that MUST be completed before a new contact can be added.
I am so very frustrated at having to regularly merge contacts (I've been doing this since Xero first landed in Australia) Almost every time I am in a clients file to review the data for 20 odd years!!!! And yes I have posted comments and provided feedback and made product suggestions.
Currently I am reviewing files to prepare the 2025 annual TPAR submissions, once again I am feeling disappointed and let down by your development team.
