As per the Union EBA, payslips are required to show payments made to industry redundancy funds such as MERT and Protect. However, it seems that Xero doesn't currently offer a straightforward way to display these contributions appropriately.
We are thinking of using the reimbursement and deductions sections as a workaround, but unsure whether this would have any adverse effects on employees' Income Statements due to STP reporting.
Could someone please advise if there is a better way to handle this until Xero fix this issue?
