Thanks for sharing, Douglas. I see you've posted int he Invoicing forum and I just wanted to check if you're referring tot he Global search (in the blue banner) or the search bar within invoice lists?

Time is our most valuable asset. Billing for our time is critical, and tracking our time is required. The easier it is to track time, the less billable time will fail to be tracked. Every page must have a button to start tracking time, and the button should change color while tracking and include the a live value equal to the amount of time tracked so far. So the same button should be used for starting and stopping the timer.

Hi everyone, there’s been a lot of thoughtful input shared on this idea, and we understand the efficiency and value this could bring for teams working with large or fast-changing contact lists.
While this request is not in the pipeline, that does not mean the need has gone unnoticed.
Your feedback continues to shape how we look at these gaps, and we appreciate you taking the time to explain what this would mean for your workflows.

I was referring to the invoice list, but in my opinion, ALL search fields should always be exposed [not hidden behind a button] and the cursor should always default into the search field.
