    Hi Kelly,

I can see the merit of leaving it to the community to vote to get someone to look at the miss/match coding of the overseas entity number compared to basic UK. However it may be that this strategy overlooks that HUGE off-shore customer base in the Channel Islands that run 100's if not 1000's of CT600 returns yearly. They would not move to xero if they could not submit the end of year accounts so they will not engage in the first place.
Perhaps a call to some of the Channel Island client service entities might open up new revenue but I know what they will ask.... "can you submit on xero CT600's?" so xero needs to think what is blocking new revenue streams...
hopefully the penny will drop before people find and go with the alternatives.
    Fingers crossed again..

That's positive Kelly. I know you guys at XERO are super busy anyway covering much more worldly projects - but I really think this is a simple fix! a quick call to HMRC developers and a little adjustment on the coding and we could have it fixed!! go for it Xero - please :-)

I have a similar problem with overseas entities that must file CT600 - to send one on the hmrc system it works by entering 000 in front of the company registration number but xero doew not recognise it. I think a conversation with hmrc and xero programmers could find a solution. I have asked in 2024 and now a year later. Please help
