    Xero needs a sales order function.
    Not just an invoice or quote function.
    A main order function that you can print an invoice, packing slip etc from.
    Right now we have to Approve an invoice (and not send it) to get a packing slip. Then manually change the packing slip to reflect what has actually been sent and what is on back order.
    When you approve an invoice, it automatically shows up on the customer statements which has given us headaches for customers who require a monthly statement. We prefer not to invoice until stock has been sent.

    Having a sales order function tidies up a lot of the issues we experience with Xero.
