Hi team, thanks for feeding back on my last update, it's good to hear how the contrasting has or hasn't helped solve needs for differing users.

We appreciate further context of your needs here and want you to know this is something our team have still been looking into.

We now have a piece of work underway that when released will show borders around widgets on the homepage 🙂 Though I can't give timeframes for this as yet, I'll keep you looped in on further updates for this here.

Adding subtle shadows or borders to cards/widgets really helps create visual hierarchy and improves scannability, especially on dashboards or overview pages. A soft shadow usually feels more modern, while borders work better for cleaner, minimal layouts. It’s similar to how mobile games use UI depth to separate menus from gameplay good visual cues improve usability without overwhelming the user. I recently saw this applied well on a gaming page like https://getshadowfight2apk.com/, where content sections are clearly separated but still feel cohesive. Small design tweaks like this can make a big difference in user experience.
