    Hi team, appreciate the thoughtful feedback in your idea here and while not a complete solve for what's being asked I did want to highlight for this specific scenario you may find favouriting reports useful. This will make that report easily navigable from the Reporting menu in our new navigation 🙂

    Also, just another tool that might help to find items that have recently been edited - the History & Notes could be used and filtered to quickly see what transactions have been edited.

    While we don't have immediate plans for enabling these sort of breadcrumbs our teams are continuously thinking about the logic and flows as they keep developing Xero features.

    I would love to see a simple “Recent Activity” or “Recently Viewed” feature in Xero.

    It would be great to have a side or top button you can click which opens a dropdown list of recently viewed items in chronological order. This could include bills, invoices, contacts, accounts, and other records that were recently created, edited, or viewed.

    NetSuite has a feature like this and it makes it extremely easy to jump back into recent work without needing to remember transaction numbers, names, or amounts.

    The current History & Notes report in Xero is useful for auditing, but not as a quick workflow/navigation tool. A lightweight recent activity dropdown or sidebar would greatly improve workflow efficiency.
