Thanks for sharing your idea about expanding this feature to include credit notes (and not create them as bills).
Now it's up to the community to get behind and support your idea. Make sure you share it with any colleagues it could also benefit, so they can add their votes and comments too!
In the meantime, it's possible to bulk import credit notes using a CSV file, but not via this feature.

This limitation creates an absurdly long-winded workflow: when a supplier credit note is emailed to Xero, I have to save the attachment to files, delete the draft bill, create a new credit note from scratch, then re-attach the file. The data is already in the system - it just needs converting.
Surely it would be straightforward to add a "Convert to Credit Note" button rather than forcing users through this manual process?
