    Good morning Xero Team,

    I trust you are well.

I would like to make a suggestion regarding bank rules in Xero.

We have multiple clients who are moving from established sole proprietorships to incorporated entities. In many cases, the sole proprietorships already have numerous bank rules set up. However, when the client moves over to the new incorporated entity, we need to recreate all of those bank rules manually, even though many of the transactions remain exactly the same.

Would it be possible to introduce a feature that allows users to transfer, export, import, or copy bank rules from one entity to another?

We work with medical accounts in South Africa, and across our client base there are many recurring transactions that are identical or very similar. If our company could create a standard collection of bank rules and import them across relevant client profiles, it would save a significant amount of time. Each clerk could then review and adjust the remaining rules according to the specific needs of each client.

This would be a highly valuable feature for accounting practices managing multiple clients with similar transaction patterns.

Thank you for considering this suggestion.

    Kind regards,

    Frances B
