    Hey Gareth, we appreciate you sharing this idea and highlighting the extra time spent manually reordering report codes in clients’ organisations. It’s clear that a better solution would help your practice run more smoothly.

    Right now, the only option is to reorder the codes manually within each client’s report. We know this isn’t the best solution and adds extra steps to your workflow.

    This idea is currently in the Gaining Support stage, so it’s open for votes and comments from the community. The feedback will help us understand how many people this would benefit and how important it is to your practice. We’ll keep you posted here as soon as there’s any news.

    Hi Gareth,

    Completely agree with you on this and I have for years been spending time rearranging this average at best report template which could be spent giving clients proper advice and guidance.

    It also doesn't allow our younger team members to create financials for final review that actually make sense. Accumulated deprecation above the actual asset accounts, amortisation above the intangible assets, the visibility of these reports is average at best.

    Instead of spending time on "Dashboard" refresh's how about we start to think about the accountants who refer 1,000s of clients to Xero and start to think about the end product. The last thing I think we want to do is reformat every clients accounts come year end to get something that somewhat makes sense.
