    Thanks for sharing this idea. We can see how allowing manual entry of UK property income for MTD for Income Tax would be desirable.

    We’ve updated this idea to Gaining Support so we can better understand how many customers this would help and the different scenarios people need it for. If this is important to you, please add your vote and share any additional detail in the comments, especially how you currently manage property income outside Xero and where the current workflow creates extra work.

    We’ll continue to review the feedback and keep this idea updated here as it progresses.

    I completely agree too, had to end up using TaxCalc MTD filer for the property income (and Xero for the sole trader income). It would not have crossed my mind to mess up the ledger of the business with property income entries, I don't know how Xero came to this solution.
