  2. On the Profit and Loss report there is no ability to show percentages, if tracking categories are used as a filter. We want to see COGS as a percentage of trading income, and Net Profit as a percentage of trading income.

  3. When adding many backup files to an Invoice it would save time if there was a check box to "attached ALL files to online Invoice" rather than having to tick each file.

  4. Would it please be possible to increase the amount of attachments that can be saved against a bill. At the moment it will allow us to attach more that 50 items but when it saves it only saves the first 50 and removes the rest.
    I realise there are ways round this eg by attaching an e-mail with multiple items attached within it, but it's then more time consuming when trying to find specific attachments

    Interesting to know you're attaching so many files to bills, Jenni. Out of curiosity can you share why you need to attach so many files to each bill? And, is there a # that would suit how many you'd often attach?

    Thanks for sharing how we could improve projects for you, Jenni. Not exactly what you're asking here but thought it was worth sharing that we have an idea over here for being able to set a default for items to be non-chargeable if you feel this would accommodate what you're also after I can merge to get a better overall view.

    For the meantime, we'll start tracking community interest in this from your idea here.

  6. When you export invoices, it gives you multiple lines for any invoice which has more than one line. It is therefore not possible to easily total up the amounts due because some invoices are on there multiple times meaning the values are overstated.

    Hi Stewart, is there a way you see the export being more helpful for you. For example would you be looking for a summary of each invoice? The Receivable Summary and Detail reports maybe useful for this sort of view and can be exported.

  7. Currently one can only post 50 lines in an invoice. It should be unlimited as some clients have at least 200 lines or more depending on their line of business.

  8. When previewing bills in 'awaiting payment' or 'awaiting approval' there used to be up and down arrows to cycle from one bill to the next or previous. The arrows have been removed from the interface with no plans to bring them back.

    Previously, we could review the account and GST coding of each bill, as well as having the attached invoice open to the right, including the abillity to review the Xero ocntact bank details by clicking on the contact name. Now, without the abiity to cycle between bills easily, it means we need to close each bill before clicking…

    Hi Amanda, in lieu of having a direct field and selection for this in Xero perhaps an option could be to add this information to the Notes of the contacts record, or attaching as a file to the contacts record.

    Appreciate this doesn't automatically flow through to the invoice.

  12. In the bank account settings, add an optional data field to enter in the Overdraft limit on a bank account. Then on the dashboard screen, show the net available balance of current bank balance + the undrawn Overdraft limit.

    Purpose - to save the user from having to manually calculate how much is available to make supplier/payroll payments or login to internet banking prior to check.

    Should also be a simple feature to add.

  15. Can the tracking category be "text wrapped" so that the full description can be seen? I often have to click edit to see the full description of the tracking category which takes takes time.
    - see image attached... The account description has 3 lines, please could the tracking category also have space to see full description.

  17. Enhance the Duplicate Bill Review screen by enabling direct click-through access to individual bills.

    When reviewing potential duplicate bills, it would be helpful to click on any listed bill to open and inspect it directly. This allows users to quickly identify and resolve issues—such as an incorrect reference number—without having to search via another screen. After making corrections, users should be able to refresh the Duplicate Bill Review screen to confirm whether the duplicate warning has been cleared.

  18. Ability to see Header rows and side columns on all screens when scrolling

    As per Microsoft Office where the top and side ribbons remains static.
    e.g. When you're in the Dashboard and scroll down it would be good if the top ribbon is static. It makes it easier to select another item (business; accounting; contact etc) without having to scroll up.

    The same with Bill Payments; Invoicing; reports etc where the top ribbon and column headers - see attached - would remain static as you scroll down the list.

    The same as when you might have a lot of columns…

  19. Once a Purchase Order is created it would be great if there was a feature to allow you to mark the PO as delivered. Currently there is no way to see what ones are complete and what ones are still outstanding. This may need to be extended to allow individual line items on a PO to be able to be marked as delivered.

  20. The highest Xero subscription allows you to make 10 bill payments through Crezco and then you pay a fee per bill. This is a pain, as I now have to approve each 24p fee.
