the ability to have multiple payment accounts for Stripe like you can for PayPal

This. We want to add 2.7% for NZ invoices, and, add 5.7% for overseas (note the higher amount than the current 5% threshold), as this is our cost from Xero. Please implement.

We can have multiple Square accounts, why can't we have multiple Stripe accounts??
This restriction is a primitive function yet Xero and Stripe don't support it.

This is very important to our business as we invoice to the UK and overseas.
If this cant not be fixed we have no alternative but to go to another provider, as I know that Sage does this.
Please update as to when this will be fixed.

My Client has multi currency Xero and invoicing templates - we need tobe able to apply different Stripe settings to each of these.
The article in Help gives instructions on how to add another Stri[pe account but then told me this is not possible.

It's really crazy that Xero doesn't allow for multiple Stripe accounts to be added - even the same Stripe account added twice to show 2 different surcharge percentage rates... In fact, 2 Support Xero Articles say that you CAN - but they seem incorrect??

Bullet # 2: Set up multiple surcharging rates by adding the same Stripe account as another payment service in Xero, for each additional rate. You can attach the different Stripe accounts to separate invoice templates to make it easier when invoicing.

There is a subheading that literally says you can: Add ANOTHER Stripe account as a payment service

Please fix this URGENTLY when you already point to the solution!

Wow, I can't believe this is not available. And that it used to be and Xero removed this critical functionality.

Stripe has a 1.7 % fee processing fee for Domestic Credit Cards and a 3.5% processing fee for Overseas cards.

Most of our customers are in Europe, US and Asia, with a handful in Australia.

There is only ONE setting in Xero to add a % of the total invoice. We need TWO.

This is really serious. If we set it at 1.7% in Xero and a customer pays with an Overseas card, we get slammed with the difference of 1.8%, which on a EUR 20K invoice is EUR 360 or (AUD 609). We have like 60 invoices in EUR to do for our conference. That would add up to AUD 36,500 in fees.....

Seriously.....guys ! Fix this now.

We need to be able to set different surcharge % depending on customer location. It is disappointing that it is not already part of the multicurrency option.

It would be good if this can be done under the one Stripe connection, but if it is only possible through having multiple strip connections we could work with that..

Definitely need this. Very unfortunate that this is not possible despite paying for multi currency on the Xero side.

Without this, I am going to have to get another part of our solution set to get the Stripe data into Xero.

I believe this used to be possible. I desperately need it now. The price of Xero keeps getting higher yet the useful features do not increase in proportion.
Please help us out here!

I run two businesses under the one Abn and need two stripe accounts

For the monthly price we pay to use the Xero platform (at any level), this should be included. I am a single person small business that operates as a DBA for a couple of different types of services. I use separate stripe accounts as a payment processor for each and this limitation means I must explain to my customer why my payment processor is under one name or the other.

It would be great of there was on option to be able to recovery amount charged by Stripe instead of a fixed %. We don't always have control over the card type being used by our customers and majority of our customers pay with a local card and therefore we have set our % up based on this. We have had a few instances now where our clients pay a local invoice with an overseas card, and we are being charged international % by Stripe, but the automated billing only added the recovery based on the domestic %. This is costing us thousands of dollars in lost fees

Please restore! Please make the job of being a small business owner a fraction easier by giving us what we need instead of continually stripping back features, putting up plan prices, and spending time redesigning things like invoice layouts that weren't broken to begin with. Bring back the old Xero - I miss it terribly.

This would be great to have especially if you run two separate websites, most organisations are complicated in their set up, and it would be great if Xero acknowledged this through getting this idea implemented.

This WAS possible before the 'enhanced integration' with Stripe that was brought in early 2024.

Another classic XERO moment being completely oblivious to what customers actually want and need.

So this isn't an 'idea' or a 'feature request', its about restoring what was already possible.

You just keep providing people with more and more reasons to search an alternative solution.

we need the second account access so our invoices can be paid to that account not the one we have set up. 2 different invoice themes could have different accounts surely. PlEASE

Please add the ability to add additional stripe accounts to Xero ASAP. This is affecting business sales not being able to add the payment options on a separate business bank account.

We definitely need to be able to add multiple Stripe accounts to run our business effectively.
