  1. Once Payroll is posted we require the relevant reports (journal and activity), I feel a download link (alike the one for payslips) would be beneficial rather than having to view reports and then having to export download for printing or saving purposes, this would save users time.

  2. We have 2 employees that will be taking 1 day LSL every week in the new financial year and it would be very helpful if there was a way to add in this type of leave request as a recurring request for the same day each week. Rather than having to add in 1 day leave for each occasion.

  3. Add Public Holidays (and all other forms of leave) to the Leave Transactions report not just Annual Leave and Personal Leave.

    Why this isn't already the default behaviour astounds me!

  4. set the number of decimals places e.g. 2 so when Xero applies a award factor e.g. 1.5x award rate the results only displays to two decimals place in their pay.
    Awards are published to two decimals places that's all we are required to pay in Australia.
    Fixing the rounding wastes so much time.

  6. Invoices submitted by contractors - Xero should have a tick box where we can tick 'I need to pay super on this invoice' and it tracks and records contractor super owing.

  7. Currently the Salary Sacrifice is just deducted on the Gross to Net report. Where as on the TB the amount is added. It would be good if this could be segregated.

  8. When approving timesheets it would be ideal to have separate lines underneath Ordinary Hours with Leave requested, on which days and hour amounts and to be able to approve there instead of having to go to a different screen.

    Can be hard to double check and remember correct days the leave was taken and also to ensure daily and weekly hours are met.

  10. Hi,

    Our employees work standard hours each day, but in addition to this there are often additional items on their timesheets, such as overtime, trip and overnight stay bonuses.

    The use of timesheet templates simplifies this process by automating the inputting of their standard hours, though due to the remote nature of their work timesheets are being submitted through the mobile application which does not allow the uploading of templates.

    Can the ability to upload templates be added to the mobile app or a default template be added when creating a new timesheet?

It would be great if Xero Me would automatically blank out the approved leave, and public holiday hours, within an employee's timesheet (manually overwritable of course) so that they cannot (or are warned not to) double up their hours. e.g. they have annual leave approved, to have a Friday off, but they can also enter paid hours on their timesheet for that same Friday, thus enabling double pay for that day.

  13. When going to Payroll -> Pay Employees -> (inside your payrun) -> (Inside an employee's pay)
    There is an option to drop down the list of employees included in the pay-run to change between. Could this be made much bigger please.

    Same goes for teh Drop-Down in the Employee Setting Pay-Template tab

  14. I think it would be fantastic if expenses were able to be linked to payroll/ pay run. Expenses are great and the app is really easy to use but from a processing point, most firms pay with their the payroll. You currently you have to create a expense suspense and clear the expenses to that and then manually add the expenses to payroll which also get posted to the expense suspense- it all a bit of a hassle and would be fantastic if the expenses could just be added to payroll, in the same way the leave does.

  15. I have an employee with two bank accounts - Bank Account 2 currently has a dollar amount going to it, and Primary Bank Account has the balance. The employee would like to swap which one is getting the dollar amount and which the balance. I'd like to do this with a button.

    Instead I have to do it manually, copying and pasting field by field.

  16. Currently when opening the TIMESHEETS page the order of the timesheets is very random (example attached).

    The most common reason for visiting this page is to view and approved/reject timesheets so It'd be very helpful for us when we do open this page that the most recent timesheets awaiting approval are at the top.
    Currently we have to click on the 'Last Edited' column header to get the most recent time sheets.
    Can we please have this page DEFAULT set up to accommodate most recent date at the top (example attached).

  17. It would be great if the employee group was included in the payroll reports. The company I am working for requires the employee ID (or employee group) to be displayed in the reports along side the name of the employee. Or if Xero could create a new field that has the employee ID number so that it is displayed in all payroll reports.

  18. It would help if the list of emplyees were sorted in alphabet order, by Surname. Also, a BACS report that just shows the employee, amount to be paid, and the total at the bottom.

  19. Hi, It would be great if payslips line items match the 'pay template' pay items or alternatively, for pay items that have a YTD amount to be shown on all payslips (with the Nil or $amount for the current pay period as applicable with the YTD) to breakdown 'Other Previous Earnings'.
    This will also assist tracking multiple pay items where it can vary each pay cycle, coding and tracking STP rates and categories, YE finalisation and review. Many thanks.

  20. Currently in XERO if you use more than one Ordinary Time Earnings Pay Item per employee the Annual Salary Calculation on the Payslip is incorrect. Using more than one is useful as there are some employees I like to apportion to 2 x areas. Example: It might be 1 day a week on Admin 4 days on Production. Whilst we can do this currently in XERO, as noted above the Annual Salary is incorrect. So - either - separate the Salary field from the Pay Item or change (fix) the way XERO calculates the Annual Salary. Note I am aware…
