UK Tax: Support for multiple MTD returns from one account.
We are a firm of accountants and have a number of husband and wife landlord clients who own rental property jointly.
Will one version of the software be able to split the rental figures and submit two MTD returns, or will they need their own version of the software each and have to manually halve the figures where the income is paid into one joint bank account?
It would be so much easier if the software could automatically halve the figures and submit two MTD returns.

In April 2026 HMRC will require landlords to send quarterly account information under MTD, it would be really helpful if Xero could support this.
