International Edition Payroll is very basic. Salaries cannot be allocated to any branches or tracking categories. All debits just go to the Expense Head of salaries etc. Also there is no option to add an employee number that would show up in the payroll reports.

We don't currently offer an international version of our Payroll product. Instead, it sounds like you may have accessed the 'Pay Run' feature in Xero
Xero's Pay Run feature is a simple payroll tool you can use to pay a few employees in your base currency, as well as running pay reports and managing basic employee information.
I can confirm there are currently no plans to expand the feature set of Pay Run to include tracking categories or employee numbers as you've described.
I'd recommend checking out our Xero App store, to see if there's a app from one of our app partners that provides payroll in your local currency 😊
