AU Tax - ability to update status in all tax return tab - additionally add ability to see more fields/columns for each tax return
The tax return view/list can be significantly improved through:
- the All tax return tab - ability to update the status from here. Currently, when we go to Lodge, we have to find the return in the All tab to determine what status it is at, then go to that specific status tab, find the return again, and update the status - this is really cumbersome, particularly when we are lodging numerous returns that are all set at different statuses.
- the ability to see more fields/columns for each tax return to reduce the risk of lodging the incorrect return. As there is no 'completion code' type function like we had in our previous system, to prevent accidental lodgement of the wrong form, there needs to be more information available in the tax return lists screens. Eg DIN, Period start AND end, tax agent, Partner, Manager. All this information helps us to distinguish between multiple 'approved' forms for the same client, or clients with similar names, and to select the correct one for lodgement. We have over 13,000 tax returns in our system so this issue is signficant.
