  1. We use multiple tax agent numbers across our business yet when we lodge STP reports via the client's organisation, we can only use one tax agent number for all clients as Xero only allows for one tax agent number to be set in Xero HQ.

    This is causing many issues, including staff and clients inadvertently updating tax agent details in the STP lodgment area on their own file, which is then updating the tax agent in HQ for all STP lodgements.

  2. Practice Admin have the ability to remove themselves if they have been invite into a potential clients org without manage users.

    Potential clients that decide to not go ahead with a Practice but done remove the PA from the org, PA should have the ability to remove themselves.

  3. AML Name List screening:

    As it is a known fact that accountants and bookkeepers must screen or conduct name list screening for individual owner that control >25% share of the company. I my former software Nomisma and Capium, accountant can conduct name list screening within the system without the need for additional subscription.
    Once the name list screening is conducted, the result is saved under the individual.
    I believe if this implemented in Xero it will make Xero one-stop-shop without the need for using other software.

  4. Partner Status - recently we handed over some Xero subscriptions to our clients to pay directly. Instead of gaining extra points for our Xero status, our points have gone down. I'd like to be able to see under each partner points section a dropdown menu of the client names and points per client. This will also help me keep on top of our Xero recharges in case a client moves from one tier to another.

  5. Enable the ability to generate a report that includes users for each client organisation that includes users who are not staff members so that you can quickly see if the correct and relevant people are accessing the Xero file and know if you need to remove users who shouldn't be there.

  7. We would love a client report showing the Industry as it is in the Xero Organisation Settings.

    Currently the report gives the Main Industry classification but not the Sub Category.

    For Example the HQ report would show a company industry is Construction but actually the company provides Electrical Services and there is no report to get this detail of all the clients.

  8. Allow users to add columns for Partner, Manager, Client Group, Xero file type and subscription owner.
    We have staff that work for a particular Partner's clients. It would be great to be able to filter the client list by all of the above information so that they can be easily identified for updating new staff permissions.

  9. Bank connections page allowing you to view all clients' bank feed statuses in one central location and easily update the connections for your clients in one go rather than navigating to each client’s account.

  10. It would be extremely helpful if there was an option to set multiple lock dates for various clients at once, so that we don't have to go into each client separately each month. It would also be helpful to have this option on Xero HQ with a view to their current locked period as well.

  11. Archiving a client with a Xero Ledger/Plan seems almost too easy as there is no warning to prompt you to cancel the subscription/or remove yourself as a user - So you could end up paying for a Xero Ledger/plan indefinitely and not know.

    As an example, we discovered 20+ entities that had been archived in XPM/XeroHQ but not cancelled in Xero.

    There is currently no way to easily find out if any active ledgers/plans are on the Archived list (which thanks to the Xero Single Client Record Process we now have 3,000+ archived clients) as you

  12. In any particular Xero account, you can review the history notes (essentially an audit log), however we do not seem to have the ability to audit a particular staff member's activity across all clients.

    This would be useful if you have a particular firm employee making the same mistake across multiple reconciliations. You could see their access/activity log to know which clients you needed to review. Or if you simply needed to know every client the employee has touched in a certain timeframe.

When preparing the client's financial statements it would be useful if we could upload the accounting partner's signature (e.g. as a JPEG or TIF) into the compilation report before the financials are published. We have to edit the signing section each year to update the date so it would be good & more efficient if we could upload the signature at the same time.

    It would then carry forward when the draft financials of the following year are prepared.

  16. It would be great if we could have repeating queries on Xero Ask so that it will automatically send queries requesting year end information or VAT return records without any human input. It would save a lot on admin time and give Xero accountants an edge.

  17. Improve the way clients can create accounts and log into an existing xero account.

    If we create an account for them, it asks them to put in their organisation details. Then we invite the client into the organisation, they have to accept the invitation.

    Clients are always having issues with their log ins, and signing documents. Feel this could be made easier for them.

  18. I’d like to suggest adding an automated feature for populating dates in the Company Minutes, using the reporting date as a reference. This would eliminate the need to manually update dates throughout the document, saving time and reducing errors.

  19. Xero HQ report templates overwrite the order of accounts to alphabetical when accessed at a client. The report templates are in the correct part of the financial statement for the client, but then it defaults to alphabetical order. This requires you to change the order for each client, even though it was done at the HQ level.

  20. Please add a column in Xero HQ, not unlike "unreconciled items" that notes the STP status of connected Xero organisations. Options to flag in this column are "STP 2 not setup", "[Year] Finalisation outstanding".
