  1. Client Merge popup box needs to be expandable. It wants me to select which client that will merge into from the other (which is irreversible) but I can't expand the popup screen or hover over the fields to see what is written in full to know which one to select.

  2. It would be good if any report you can already run in Xero could be added to a report template - this would include GST reports (activity statement and GST reconciliation), payroll reports etc. That way instead of having to manually extract each of these reports for each client we can just do it in bulk through one report template.

  4. It would be good if you could scroll up past 2015 when adding a date on the relationships tab. Rather than having to press it, then reopen it to open up the next bit.

  5. Extend the information in Xero HQ to include full client data.
    Information that would be good to see on each client information schedule would be;

    a. VAT registration date, this is required for security with HRMC so needs to be in one place when contacting them.
    b. VAT quarters (We do have clients that don’t use xero and this information is important)
    c. PAYE registration details (Not all clients use Xero payroll and equally flicking between various clients bookkeeping systems when on the phone to HMRC is a bit irritating!)
    d. UTR details for companies
    e. Tax district for Both…

  6. It would be very handy to be able to create a formula in a custom report that could reference a group/custom row that sits within a closed group as sometimes you need these rows in order to drive the formula but they dont add any helpful information to the final report.

  8. Xero HQ report templates overwrite the order of accounts to alphabetical when accessed at a client. The report templates are in the correct part of the financial statement for the client, but then it defaults to alphabetical order. This requires you to change the order for each client, even though it was done at the HQ level.

  9. When entering a number of invoices for the same customer or vendor it would be great not having to reenter the name for each entry. Recommend the ability to "pin" a name for multiple entries under the same name.

  10. We occasionally have issues when transferring Xero subscriptions with the notification being missed by the other party. Is it possible for the subscriber to receive an email when the transfer period is due to expire and the other party has not accepted?

  14. On the Employee Contact Details report it would be great to have a column to show the termination date and reason for termination. Being able to sort by termination date range eg last quarter would be beneficial to assist with preparing the long service leave reports. The termination date and reason needs to be included in the report. Having a summary of the information from Xero would be beneficial for all.

  15. Practice Admin have the ability to remove themselves if they have been invite into a potential clients org without manage users.

    Potential clients that decide to not go ahead with a Practice but done remove the PA from the org, PA should have the ability to remove themselves.

  16. Partner Status - recently we handed over some Xero subscriptions to our clients to pay directly. Instead of gaining extra points for our Xero status, our points have gone down. I'd like to be able to see under each partner points section a dropdown menu of the client names and points per client. This will also help me keep on top of our Xero recharges in case a client moves from one tier to another.

  18. AML Name List screening:

    As it is a known fact that accountants and bookkeepers must screen or conduct name list screening for individual owner that control >25% share of the company. I my former software Nomisma and Capium, accountant can conduct name list screening within the system without the need for additional subscription.
    Once the name list screening is conducted, the result is saved under the individual.
    I believe if this implemented in Xero it will make Xero one-stop-shop without the need for using other software.

  19. Xero have announced that they are removing the ability to automatically send batch files across to Kiwibank & ASB on 16th November, in order to "focus our efforts to support areas of Xero that provide the most value for customers."

    Speaking on behalf of my clients who actively use this feature, it's of huge value to them. It automates a process that otherwise involves manually downloading a file, logging into internet banking and uploading that file. It's even better for users who don't have internet banking access, but need to set up payment batches on behalf of those that do…

  20. We would love a client report showing the Industry as it is in the Xero Organisation Settings.

    Currently the report gives the Main Industry classification but not the Sub Category.

    For Example the HQ report would show a company industry is Construction but actually the company provides Electrical Services and there is no report to get this detail of all the clients.
