  2. On the Employee Contact Details report it would be great to have a column to show the termination date and reason for termination. Being able to sort by termination date range eg last quarter would be beneficial to assist with preparing the long service leave reports. The termination date and reason needs to be included in the report. Having a summary of the information from Xero would be beneficial for all.

  4. Practice Admin have the ability to remove themselves if they have been invite into a potential clients org without manage users.

    Potential clients that decide to not go ahead with a Practice but done remove the PA from the org, PA should have the ability to remove themselves.

  5. Partner Status - recently we handed over some Xero subscriptions to our clients to pay directly. Instead of gaining extra points for our Xero status, our points have gone down. I'd like to be able to see under each partner points section a dropdown menu of the client names and points per client. This will also help me keep on top of our Xero recharges in case a client moves from one tier to another.

  7. Xero have announced that they are removing the ability to automatically send batch files across to Kiwibank & ASB on 16th November, in order to "focus our efforts to support areas of Xero that provide the most value for customers."

    Speaking on behalf of my clients who actively use this feature, it's of huge value to them. It automates a process that otherwise involves manually downloading a file, logging into internet banking and uploading that file. It's even better for users who don't have internet banking access, but need to set up payment batches on behalf of those that do…

  8. We would love a client report showing the Industry as it is in the Xero Organisation Settings.

    Currently the report gives the Main Industry classification but not the Sub Category.

    For Example the HQ report would show a company industry is Construction but actually the company provides Electrical Services and there is no report to get this detail of all the clients.

  9. Allow users to add columns for Partner, Manager, Client Group, Xero file type and subscription owner.
    We have staff that work for a particular Partner's clients. It would be great to be able to filter the client list by all of the above information so that they can be easily identified for updating new staff permissions.

  10. Bank connections page allowing you to view all clients' bank feed statuses in one central location and easily update the connections for your clients in one go rather than navigating to each client’s account.

  11. Enable the ability to generate a report that includes users for each client organisation that includes users who are not staff members so that you can quickly see if the correct and relevant people are accessing the Xero file and know if you need to remove users who shouldn't be there.

  12. Archiving a client with a Xero Ledger/Plan seems almost too easy as there is no warning to prompt you to cancel the subscription/or remove yourself as a user - So you could end up paying for a Xero Ledger/plan indefinitely and not know.

    As an example, we discovered 20+ entities that had been archived in XPM/XeroHQ but not cancelled in Xero.

    There is currently no way to easily find out if any active ledgers/plans are on the Archived list (which thanks to the Xero Single Client Record Process we now have 3,000+ archived clients) as you

  15. It would be great if we could have repeating queries on Xero Ask so that it will automatically send queries requesting year end information or VAT return records without any human input. It would save a lot on admin time and give Xero accountants an edge.

  16. Xero HQ report templates overwrite the order of accounts to alphabetical when accessed at a client. The report templates are in the correct part of the financial statement for the client, but then it defaults to alphabetical order. This requires you to change the order for each client, even though it was done at the HQ level.

  17. Please add a column in Xero HQ, not unlike "unreconciled items" that notes the STP status of connected Xero organisations. Options to flag in this column are "STP 2 not setup", "[Year] Finalisation outstanding".

  18. In any particular Xero account, you can review the history notes (essentially an audit log), however we do not seem to have the ability to audit a particular staff member's activity across all clients.

    This would be useful if you have a particular firm employee making the same mistake across multiple reconciliations. You could see their access/activity log to know which clients you needed to review. Or if you simply needed to know every client the employee has touched in a certain timeframe.

  20. If you update the report code mapping on a report template and save it as a draft, the changes won't reflect on the draft template in the client’s organisation.

    You either need to remove the report from your template and add it again, or run a fresh template in the client organisation.

    Above the answer for my problem - such an obvious issue, surely Xero, you can sort this out without waiting for folks to vote on it !!
