  1. It would be great if clients can only see admin email (standard practice email) as a sender rather than staff emails as a sender. Example Invoice reply to standard organisation email rather than individual staff emails.

  2. We need a transaction list for all contact where the unapplied payment amount reflects. It is very difficult to compare our Xero statement with transaction list from a supplier (or debtor for that matter) if you have to export the Xero report on the contact to be able to add up all applied payments and then only be able to compare statements.
    The Contact summary Report should have the option of seeing the report with applied payments or show the payment amount as it came (or was paid out) to suppliers / customers.

    Hi Elmie, just trying to understand your idea here a little better - when you mention 'unapplied payment amount' would this be an amount that's been paid by your customer but hasn't yet been applied to the invoice, or the outstanding amount of an invoice once payment has been applied ?

  3. In any particular Xero account, you can review the history notes (essentially an audit log), however we do not seem to have the ability to audit a particular staff member's activity across all clients.

    This would be useful if you have a particular firm employee making the same mistake across multiple reconciliations. You could see their access/activity log to know which clients you needed to review. Or if you simply needed to know every client the employee has touched in a certain timeframe.

  4. We use multiple tax agent numbers across our business yet when we lodge STP reports via the client's organisation, we can only use one tax agent number for all clients as Xero only allows for one tax agent number to be set in Xero HQ.

    This is causing many issues, including staff and clients inadvertently updating tax agent details in the STP lodgment area on their own file, which is then updating the tax agent in HQ for all STP lodgements.

  5. Xero apps - In Xero HQ we use to have the apps under the explorer tab, to see the most popular apps and what clients are using them. It was highly useful to advise clients when an app was to cease or we were introducing an alternative to see who was using it.

    Appreciate the interest and hearing the use you have in seeing integrated apps your clients have connected.

    As some will have received communication of some time back - we made the hard decision to retire Explorer in Xero HQ from 12 April, 2023.

    Right now, if you'd like to see the apps a client has connected you can open the Xero organisation, go to settings and select Connected apps.

    While this is something we may consider developing elsewhere in Xero HQ down the road, it isn't in the teams plans right now. We'll continue to track interest here, and let you know if there is any change surrounding this to share. Thanks

  6. Xero HQ report templates overwrite the order of accounts to alphabetical when accessed at a client. The report templates are in the correct part of the financial statement for the client, but then it defaults to alphabetical order. This requires you to change the order for each client, even though it was done at the HQ level.

  8. We now have a single client record with HQ & XPM but it still does not pull through the client partner & manager from XPM and allow us to filter this way.

    We would find this feature very helpful when bulk updating client access for our team members when they start or depart.

    We also need to be able to export reports from HQ on the filters we apply. Currently even if a filter is applied the export includes all clients and columns and not what is in the filter display.

  9. Improve the way clients can create accounts and log into an existing xero account.

    If we create an account for them, it asks them to put in their organisation details. Then we invite the client into the organisation, they have to accept the invitation.

    Clients are always having issues with their log ins, and signing documents. Feel this could be made easier for them.

  10. It would be a great help if you could insert a field into the activity page which includes the property address that the invoice is for, so that this would be clear which property the invoice relates to rather than having to go into each invoice to see which property it is for.

  11. Home page or landing page -- can you put the "go to xero" button on the left of the client's name? The new page makes it so I have to scroll so far to the right to get to those buttons, that I no longer know which client is on which line of the table. It is harder to log in and go directly to my client's books now.

  12. Add a custom column similar to a custom row into reports.

    This would be used to include quantities for livestock reports, for automating % of trust distributions payable to beneficiaries prior end of June.

    This currently can't be done in reports.

  13. Would be useful for tracking purposes to have ability of exporting clients list together with table informing who is subscriber. At the moment even filter like that cannot be applied to display clients in Xero HQ.

  14. It would be extremely helpful if there was an option to set multiple lock dates for various clients at once, so that we don't have to go into each client separately each month. It would also be helpful to have this option on Xero HQ with a view to their current locked period as well.

  15. Currently the report's filters only available to filter thing that " contain " in the respective categories. Can you please also include the option "do not contain" - so that we could produce report to omit things that we would not wish to include. Thank you

  18. Be able to see the email body of the document pack that was sent or alternatively a copy of the document pack sent to the staff member who sent it to the client so that there is a record of what the email body contained.

  19. Xero HQ Should have functionality to generate Ledger, profit and loss account and balance sheet for all the clients in one go under sitting under practice. This will help to understand clients business performance etc and will make peer comparison easier.

  20. allow quantities to be added direclty to the ledger and then to feed into reporting templates. manualy entered reporting data is fraught with danger and history is lost from year to year, which means we are replugging data every year...current "semi-automated" practice doesnt seem to fit with xero ethos
