  1. Allow for Bank Transfers between two different currency bank accounts via the Xero API.
This is a fundamental and common use case for bank transfers, and is available within the product, but not available within the Xero API. Please make this available to your API users and business partners.

Thanks for your feedback on the Xero API and for sharing your idea to allow for Bank Transfers between two different currency bank accounts.

We're grateful for your engagement and for letting us know the changes that matter to our API users and business partners. We understand this is a common use case that is available in the product, and we appreciate you highlighting this gap in the API.

We've reviewed your idea and now it can gain support from other community members. Along with votes, others can now comment to share additional detail about how your idea could improve their experience and integrations with Xero.🙂

  2. Maybe I'm missing something (integration settings perhaps) but if I enter a personal tax client's details into Xero HQ, then only some of this pushes into Xero Blue and I have to re-enter certain details like client code, email address etc as well as new fields such as sales defaults. Similarly, not all of the data pushes into Xero PM and the UTR/NI number have to be entered again. Is it not possible to have a Xero HQ as the single point of entry which then updates all fields in Xero PM and Xero Blue?

Appreciate your feedback on how syncing more data between Xero HQ and your client organisations would be useful, Balley.

We'll continue to get an understanding of the interest for this here.

Just to note around your request for syncing data between Xero HQ and XPM - as you may have seen from recent news we are unifying the clients and staff experience across HQ and XPM in what will soon be Xero Partner Hub meaning all your client data will be synced and consistent. You can read more about this here.

  3. Ability to export an invoice created in Xero business edition to a document pack.

For example, if I prepare a BAS or tax return for a client and send it to them in a document pack along with my invoice, I have to export the invoice from Xero and save it, and then add it to the document pack.

It would be beneficial if there was an option in the invoice screen to add the invoice to a document pack, similar to adding a completed tax return from Xero Tax to a document pack.

Hi Rebecca, thanks for taking the time to share your idea for adding an invoice directly into a Document Pack. We can see how this would streamline the process and save valuable time, removing the manual steps of downloading and re-uploading invoices when sending documents to your clients.

Our Community team has reviewed your idea, and it can now gain support from other community members.

Along with votes, others can now comment to share additional detail about how your idea could improve their experience with Xero.

    Thanks again for your contribution!

Hi community, we appreciate hearing your interest around the reports that would be useful for you to use in Report Templates.

We have decided to split the request for Payroll reports and the Tracking Summary report as it is unlikely these would both be added at once.

You'll find the new idea for the Tracking Summary report across here and this one will remain centered around Payroll reports.

We want to be honest that we don't have any plans at this stage for adding payroll reports to Report Templates. But, our product teams are aware of the interest surrounding this and we'll let you know if there is any progress on this idea.

  5. Have the ability to create more than one report style (colour and logo) so when you export to a 'Styled PDF' there are choices beyond 'no styling' and your default.

Hi team, we appreciate interest in being able to create more customised layouts when it comes to the styling of the PDF's of your reports.

Being upfront this isn't a feature we have immediate plans around but we'd like to keep tracking the interest from community around, through this idea.
