AU Tax - Option to delete tax agent logo
Please add the option to remove the logo from the tax agent profile. Once you add it, there is no option to remove it
3 votesThanks for raising as an idea here, Inna. While it's not possible to delete a tax agents logo atm you could upload a blank white picture as the logo where you'd like to remove the existing.
We don't have any direct plans around this atm, but we'll get a sense of the interest here and let you know if there's any progress.

Xero Tax Asset Register - Written off Assets not Remaining on Register
Hi,
In tax returns for clients that have a business schedule in their ITR, when an asset is fully depreciated, in the following year it disappears from the tax return and depreciation schedule altogether. Is there a way assets can remain on the depreciation schedule? It is very handy to have a full depreciation schedule for all assets, particularly if clients sell assets in the following years.
Thank you

Xero Tax (UK) | Tax payment reminders
I use Xero Tax to prepare all my self-assessment returns for clients and I'd like to send out a reminder this month of the POA due at the end of the month along with their UTR references. Is there any way to produce a report from Xero Tax summarising this information by client which could be exported to Excel and used as basis for a mail merge? If not, this would be really helpful and presumably, as the information is already held in Xero Tax to generate the Payment Reports this should not be very complex to develop. Thanks

AU Tax - Create a Tax Form from Returns Tab
It would be timesaving to be able to Create a Tax Form (all types) directly within the Returns tab and link to an Existing Client and Job.
What would be even better would be to be able to add a Job on the fly during the process if not already established.

AU Xero Tax - Auto add tax agent fee from invoice as deduction in tax return
I think it would be great to have Xero Tax automatically populate tax agent fee from invoice raised to client in the past year as deduction in tax return

AU Tax - Rental Schedule Apportionment
Currently the apportionment percentage for the rental is calculated for all income and expenses. However, in reality this is not always the situation. Sage has the ability to change the apportionment of each expense individually as well which is very useful, time-saving and error reducing.

NZ Tax - IR3B Business Schedule with Fixed Asset Schedule
Given Xero has an IR3 Rental Schedule form and Home Office Work Papers why does the business schedule workpaper only have line by line capability and not a business schedule equivalent to IR's IR3B business schedule? Why is this helpful, it means we have the ability to put in front of the client not only the income and expenses relating to their small enterprise (i.e. usually don't warrant an accounting product) and provides traceability for fixed assets and depreciation claimed.

AU TAX - Send tax returns to clients directly through Xero Tax
It would be useful to be able to email tax returns direct from XERO tax. Returns sent by XERO sign can only be viewed by a client in their entirity prior to signing if they have an ADOBE account.

Xero Tax(AU) - Tab for Returned
Would we be able to have a tab in Xero Tax between 'To Sign' and 'To File' - called 'Returned' - so that any ITR or AS that has been e-signed is moved across into that tab?

Xero Tax(AU) - Ability to create early Tax Returns for companies who switch from Financial Year to Calendar year
One should be able to create tax returns for Companies that switched their Financials years to calendar year, to avoid late lodgements. For Example, for the companies whose financial year is 1 Jan,2022 to 31 Dec,2022, need to wait till Jun 2023 to file their tax returns

Xero Tax - Add the Client Code field to the ITCRPT report
The Client Code field is not available in the ITCRPT report. Having the Client Code field available in all reports is a basic key function of any CRM, as it allows for proper data matching between systems, data cleansing, combining reports and analysis. Using the Client Code field across all systems is common practice.
We are trying to match and combine client lists from other systems to the ITCRPT report in Xero so key data is available for our teams on the one report. This is critical for lodgement management. Yet we are not able to do this, because the…

AU Tax - New client's information are automatically filled for tax return
It would be very helpful that when a new Tax Return for a new Client is created that the Clients mobile numbers and emails are put in by default and we have the option to set a default for the Clients bank details & postal address to always be selected.
I know that the information carries on from the previous year regarding the address and bank details but if the information is supplied on the new client profile before the Tax Return is created it should automatically select the Clients Information.105 votes -

AU Tax - Depreciation Schedules unlinked
Ability to have separate and unlinked depreciation schedules available in Xero Tax a still print a depreciation report would be very useful. At times there is no requirement to link a depreciation schedule to a particular area with the tax return (it may not be relevant for the current year however is required in future years) or the schedules relates to two areas within the tax return. I have circumstances where rental assets has differing ownership percentages which causes a nightmare using the current depreciation processes.

NZ Tax reports - Include "Tax Statement Balance" and "Payment Amount" fields
Open up report fields so that you can select the "Tax Statement Balance" Field as well as the "Payment Amount" field. This gives us the ability to compare what XPM has as due and what the IRD has as due without having to export and complete complicated Excel actions.

Xero Tax (UK) | Corporation Tax Payment Details Summary
Our existing tax software has a summary page that is automatically generated and goes alongside the CT600 that includes the payment amount, due date, bank details to use and payment reference. I.e. a perfect 1 page summary to give to the client so they know what to pay.
It would be great if Xero Tax could incorporate this into their solution so that the payment details don't have to be sent to the client separately.6 votes -
Xero Tax - Archive Draft tax returns
Currently, Xero only lets us archive the returns that are already filed (or are in the filed status).
There are scenarios, when the clients come in to do the tax return- we need more information and client does not respond. We do have an option of suspending the returns- however, these returns will still be left in draft making the draft tax returns list unnecessarily longer.
Xero is not currently allowing us to archive the returns that are in the draft status. Either we have to mark the return as 'filed' before it can be archived or these have to…
