XPM - Sync updated client information via Xero to the ATO Portal
It would be good if we could update client info changes such as change of address or bank account changes directly in Xero that would then update on the ATO Portal. Having used this in another accounting package, it is an extremely efficient process that make sure the client info is updated at both sites. Making these changes directly through the ATO portal gives no (or very little) audit trail.

XPM - Filter reports by tax returns lodged as Final.
The option to filter the reports by tax returns that have been lodged as Final in a certain tax year would be beneficial.
We could then cross check and archive clients as necessary.
There are so many fields to choose from in the Fields and Criteria, but this is not one of them.
It would save us from having to keep a manual list as some can get missed this way.3 votesHi Alison,

We've reviewed your idea to be able to filter reports by tax returns that have been lodged as 'Final' for a specific year, and it's now open to gain support from other community members. We can definitely see how this filter would streamline end-of-year processes and remove the need to keep manual lists for cross-checking and archiving clients.

XPM - Integrate Quotes with Xero Sign for e-signatures
Currently Quotes are not able to be sent directly for e-sign acceptance (i.e. clients will need to print physical copy of quote, sign and email back unless they have access to adobe sign). It would be an improvement if quote can be sent to Xero Sign for signing and audit trail. Alternatively, it would also be great if clients can accept/decline from the quote email.

XPM - Generate new client record via ATO Pre-fill Data
In many accounting software platforms, the established workflow for onboarding a new individual client and preparing their Income Tax Return leverages ATO pre-fill data efficiently.
This process typically involves:
- Adding the new client to the ATO portal.
- Downloading the pre-fill XML file directly from the ATO portal.
- Saving the downloaded XML file to a local directory.

XPM - Show Client Managers and Job Managers on main recurring job screen
Would like to have the ability to see both client managers and job managers on the main recurring job list screen, along with the ability to export this list.

We can definitely see how having both the Client Manager and Job Manager visible on the main recurring jobs screen would make it much easier to see who is responsible for what at a glance. Adding an export option for that screen is also a great point.

Practice Manager - A list of naming conventions for importing
It would be a good to have a full list of naming conventions so you can import client job etc data in bulk, without having to "guess" the title name.

XPM - Time cost per entry when reviewing task postings
When invoicing in XPM and choosing the task postings options Yes/No/Future, can you add a column for the cost (not just time and rate) so we can judge what to invoice and how much for.

XPM - More user friendly client & date selection
When running reports, posting timesheets etc, it would be good for the client search function to search the entire name, rather than requiring exact input. Similarly, the ability to type a date in any format (e.g. DD/MM/YY), rather than being exact or using the calendar icon.

Practice Manager - Ability to associate a CURNN from a Job to multiple clients

I was told that when you create a job for client A, you can only create CURNN for client A.We are unable to make CURNN for client A's association - such as their spouse, their business (company, trust, partnership, etc) or any client in client A's group.
To do a CURNN for client A's spouse, i would have to create a job for the spouse then create the CURNN.

We don't have any immediate changes around this planned, for now you'll want to add a New CURNN to each individual client. We'll continue to keep an eye on the community support for this here,.
