Navigation - Search for bank accounts
To have the search function look up bank accounts by name or number. As we have approx 80 bank accounts in one Xero dashboard scrolling to find the correct one is very time consuming, so a search function would be very handy.
2 votesThanks for your idea, Simone. Gosh that is a lot of bank accounts I can see why a search would help. No immediate changes planned for this but I'll share your feedback with our product team and we'll get a sense of others that'd find this useful from your idea, here. 🙂

Homepage - Global Practice setting
Would be great to customise the Homepage across all your 450 clients at once via a global setting. Then deal with outliers individually on their own homepage.
Not sure why it's designed for single org users only. Need a way to do this on scale please!
2 votesAwesome to hear you're getting a feel of the homepage, Charles. Thanks for taking your time to feedback on what changes would make the most impact for you.
I'll make sure to share your feedback with our product teams. For now we'll get a sense of interest from others in the beta here, and I'll keep you updated if any plans for a global setting are made.

Homepage | Bank account widget 'Account transactions' button as well as 'Reconcile items'
The ability to access the setting for each menu item is great.
The ability to create a sales invoice for billable expenses from the billable expense is outstanding.
The button to View transactions on each bank account on the home page is excellent but I would like this button for accounts that have items to reconcile as well. Fewer clicksHelp banner on each page. I would like to be able to disable this permanently for established clients.Sales tab.
Love the "Billable Expenses", Needs to be aboveQuotes. Need to be able to not bill them where I have a project invoice. Just assign the customer.
Purchases Tab:…2 votesHi Michele, connecting with our product team I understand you directly caught up with them on some of these points too. We really value the time you've taken to connect and feedback about these beta experiences.
I've split your feedback here to multiple ideas so we can track interest in each change separately.
I've updated the title of this idea to reflect the request to add the Account transactions' button to the bank account widget and you'll find the other idea's I've created on your behalf listed below. 🙂
- Navigation - Control which apps are recommended
- Contacts - Warning if entering contact simliar to existing (there was an existing idea for finding duplicate contacts so I added your vote to this)
- Purchases overview - View Billable expenses not billed.
- Sales overview - Ability to customise and shift Billable expenses above Quotes
- Navigation - Setting to turn off help for all…

New Homepage - Ability for advisor to set defaults
Love the look and ability to customise widgets for clients. It would be great if we, as Advisors, can specify then the client can change.
Displaying the client logo in the top left is great but way too small to be effective
2 votesGreat to hear you're diving into the new experience, Michele. Thanks for taking your time to share changes that you could feel could add benefit.
We'll get a feel for the interest from other beta users from your idea here and I'll make sure to share if our product teams make any plans around this.

Navigation - Simplify layout
The beta version of the new Xero layout. updated interface feels overly busy and cluttered, which makes navigation more difficult—particularly for clients who manage multiple bank accounts.
I believe users should have the choice to switch to the new layout when they’re ready, rather than being automatically transitioned.
Additionally, clients pay for Xero to streamline their financial management, not to have advertising pushed at them. The current design detracts from the user experience and makes it harder to find and complete tasks efficiently.
1 voteThanks for your added detail and how this is impacting your clients, Kelly.
I'll share this information back with our product teams and am looking into the point you mentioned of not being able to opt-out. I'll be back with another update for you here.
