  1. The Status options (Completed, ready for review etc. ) apply to the whole workpaper, for example Current Liabilities. Is it possible to apply a status to each individual account within that workpaper, ie so that as you are reviewing you can mark each account as completed or rework required as you go, instead of the status applying all accounts within that workpaper.

    Thank you for the feedback on the new Workpapers experience. We've reviewed your idea and now it's up to the community to get behind and support it. We really appreciate the time taken and the input of our customers and encourage you to share your idea with any colleagues that this could benefit so they can add their vote too! This is invaluable to our Product team. Along with votes, other members can now comment to share additional detail about how your idea could improve their experience with Xero.

  2. Can the spreadsheet have more formatting options - like borders so that you can have a top and bottom border on a total cell? Bold type?

    Also, it needs more functionality like being able to select the range of cells to sum =sum(select cells using mouse) instead of manually typing in the range.

    When you copy and paste from Excel formatting is lost and you cannot add additional lines past where the data pastes if past row 20 (The data itself can paste to additional rows). If data goes to row 19, you cannot insert additional lines past 20 either.

    We've moved your idea to gaining support so the wider community can get behind and support it. Our Product team appreciate the comments and ideas and will look at the feedback and comments and use this information to improve our customers experience with Xero.

  3. In the bank reconciliation, it would be great to be able to enter the closing balance per the bank statement, and the workpaper shows any variance.

    It would also be great if the bank name and a partial account number could be pulled through to help identify accounts where a client has many bank accounts.

    Thanks for participating in the forum here and sharing how we could improve new workpapers further for your use, Adam. Our team are paying close attention to the ideas that are coming through here and we;'ll start to get a sense of others that'd find this flow useful here, too.

  4. A little UI matter, I know the column widths will scale depending on the window size; however, when I go into the Income Tax workpaper, the spacing seems quite wide even in a smaller split-screen window. It would be nice if the column widths were narrower
