Have the same issue, client ceased payroll in 2022, now has taken an employee on, HMRC will not reopen the PAYE scheme as this has been too long and Xero wants us to open a new organisation to enable us to run this payroll. This is not an option as all the clients long running transactions are in Xero. There needs to be an option to reopen payroll on Xero on the organisation with the new PAYE codes.
