Hi community, we recognise our customers find the option of whether to include a PDF when sending invoices today useful and thank you for you feedback on why you'd also like to see this reflected in Quotes. Our team are considering this for a future opportunity in Quotes and I want to assure you they are well aware of the idea for this here. However, we want to be upfront that we don't have any direct work planned for this right now. We will be sure to share any updates or progress when it comes, with you all here.

This is mission critical as we have some confidentiality agreements that we can't include a pdf. Not to mention some clients web filters and security policies block pdf attachments. Please enable the option to NOT include the pdf of the quote, we should be able to pick, just link, just pdf or both.

It's been three years since I commented about this craziness still not being fixed. I'm opening another business and Xero will not be used in it. There are way better tools they don't randomly paywall existing features and increase rates (like removing expenses from mobile). Xero is more concerned about increasing their bottom line and updating their UI than supporting their customers. Look elsewhere, this should have taken a developer a day or two and with AI it could be done in minutes to add a checkbox, but that's too much for them.
