Quotes - Remove Deleted Quotes from the All list
Quotes that have been Deleted are marked as Deleted but continue to be displayed in the Sales Overviews. There is no need to continue to display deleted items in the Overviews. They should be removed.
15 votesHi team, in the aim of transparency we have split this idea out from the original one here so we can get a better understanding of the interest for this change in each area of Xero.
Being quite different features within Xero it's not likely that a change in one would be reflected in the other area at the same time. We will continue to track interest in removing quotes from the all list here and share if there are any updates.

Xero Accounting app - Quotes should have the share option
Like in xero mobile app in Invoice we Have option to share Invoice via other apps by getting its Link (Even we can send that link to clients with SMS)
Quote should have similar share option in app.

Xero Accounting App - ability to delete quotes
Make all features available on phone app that are available on pc / laptops.
There’s various basic functions that cannot be done on the Xero app designed for phones. Many small business users who are on the road for work want to action expenses and invoices as they go and have the same functionality on their phone as the laptop. Features are currently missing e.g:
- adding a discount to an invoice
- adding a category
- deleting a quote
And much more. It would be great to be able to do everything on your phone.2 votesHi Ashleigh👋 Thanks for sharing your ideas and letting us know what matters to you! We also see how deleting quotes would be handy, and your idea is now open to votes from the Community to gain more support.
For adding categories and discount you are able to add a discount. We recommend raising a case with our support team for further assistance with this :)

Quotes - Split quotes into multiple invoices with relationships and automatic “Mark as invoiced” functionality
Our work is often quoted at the project level, with invoices being issued monthly for the duration of the project until the quoted amount has been paid and the project completed.
Currently, we create the quote, and then subsequently create invoices - manually keeping track until the quoted amount has been invoiced, at which point we mark the quote as invoiced.
It would be helpful if;
- We could split the quote into N invoices automatically with the total invoiced amount over N invoices equalling the amount in the selected quote.OR
- When a quote is marked as accepted but…

Printing quotations as job sheets
It would be so helpful if tradesmen could create a printable & electronic job sheet from a quotation containing materials and time scales etc
This would be amazing as I have to use other software for this .
Steve
Wired electrical7 votesHey Steve, thanks for sharing this idea. We get that it’s an extra step having to create a job sheet in another tool after you’ve already prepared the quote in Xero, and how a more streamlined flow would save you time.
One option for now is to use Xero Projects to track time and expenses against your work. While we know this doesn't give you that specific printable job sheet for your team on the go, it's the best way to manage the work in Xero right now. Another user has also helpfully highlighted how they use quote templates to create job sheets in Xero.
Alternatively, as you’ve mentioned, there are options on the Xero App Store that may provide the solution you’re looking for here.
We're keeping an eye on the conversation and votes here, so please continue to share your thoughts.

Quotes - Move quotes to an expired status after expiry date
At the moment, the options for quote status are: Draft, Sent, Declined, Accepted, and Invoiced. A sales quote that was sent but it's now past the date on which it expired still shows as Sent. It hasn't been Declined yet, but nor has it been Accepted, so there are quotes which are 4 years old still sitting in the list of valid quotes (see attached extract from the accounts of one of my clients). There needs to be another category for quotes which are old but which the customer may want to revisit (and therefore would be more efficient to…

XPM - Integrate Quotes with Xero Sign for e-signatures
Currently Quotes are not able to be sent directly for e-sign acceptance (i.e. clients will need to print physical copy of quote, sign and email back unless they have access to adobe sign). It would be an improvement if quote can be sent to Xero Sign for signing and audit trail. Alternatively, it would also be great if clients can accept/decline from the quote email.

Quotes - Automatic pre-loaded descriptions for specific customers when creating a quote
Option to have pre-loaded descriptions for specific customers when creating a quote. The description should automatically be present when each customer is selected rather than having to select a code to load it.
2 votesThanks for sharing your idea, and letting us know how pre-filling the description on quotes would save you time.

Xero Accounting App - Ability to sort quotes order
In app version, when we click omn Quotes then we see 2 options to choose- numer of quotes sent & number of quotes to invoice.
When we click on number of quotes to invoice then we see all the quotes converted to invoice. But they appear as increasing order means oldest quote on top, we should have option to change the order i.e newest quote on top.2 votesThanks for sending through your idea and highlighting what’s important to you.
We’ve taken a look, and now it’s over to the wider community to get involved. If others you work with would benefit from this too, feel free to share it so they can add their vote.
Other users can also jump in with comments to share how this would improve their experience in Xero—we’d love to hear more perspectives from the community.

Quotes / Invoices - Select which lines to copy to a new transaction
When your quote involves different vendors, it would be nice to have the option to create POs with a click of a button for all the vendors but because you can't specify a vendor for each item then at least let us select the line items. Also very important, any additional information that was added to the description during the quote / invoice process should be carried over to the PO.
3 votesThanks for sharing this idea. This partial-copy feature might be used whenever you need to copy a quote or invoice to another transaction, such as another quote or draft invoice.
We've reviewed this idea and now it's up to the wider community to get behind it.
Please share this idea with any colleagues that this could benefit, so they can add their votes and comments too!

while generating the quotation, we would like our company details to appear on the continuation pages as well. Currently, only the UEN number is being displayed. Additionally, we would like to include page numbers for easier reference by our customers.
2 votesHi 👋 , just to get a better sense of what you'e asking here. It sounds the Quotes you create may be quite large and span multiple pages - Are you asking for the ability to enter a custom header that would appear across each page of your quote?

Quote - Formatting options in summary section
Quote- Multiple formatting options in the "Summary" section.
In the service delivery business the quotation is also your proposal. Having the ability to use bulleting or numbering as well as bold text or underlining would greatly improve the look and feel of your proposal when the "Summary" section is used to describe and summarize the work or project you are quoting on.

Quotes - Option to Accept part of the quote and Decline the remaining lines
Hi, I would like to be able to complete quotes correctly please. So for example, QU-6767 was accepted by the customer. The customer later decided that only one line of the quote was required, which was invoiced. I would now like to mark the remaining part of the quote as declined.
It would therefore be helpful to have more options for the quotes system, to be able to mark the quote as partially invoiced and the remaining as declined, even after the quote has been accepted.
I create monthly reports of accepted, declined and invoiced quotes. It would be helpful…

Quotes - Quote status between Accepted and Invoiced
After the customer accepts the quote, we need to book the work in. It doesn't get invoiced until the work is complete. It would be helpful if we could add an "Expected Start Date" to quotes after they've been accepted, or at least be able to mark it as "Booked".
3 votesHi Brian 👋 Thanks for for letting us know the changes that matter to you, especially when it comes to managing the progress of your quotes.
We've reviewed your idea to add more detailed statuses to quotes between the 'Accepted' and 'Invoiced' stages, and it can now gain support from other community members.

Applications and invoices for construction company
Have the ability to post a application before the invoice is received.
2 votesHi Danielle, when you say you'd like to post an application. Could quotes potentially be a fit for this purpose here? Otherwise could you share a bit more detail on what would be needed to record the application in Xero.

Quotes - Sending a quote to group of contacts
an option to send quote emails and invoice emails to multiple groups of contacts
1 voteThanks for taking the time to suggest how Xero could better support sending quotes and invoices to multiple contacts.
As you may be aware, you can currently create invoices for contact groups and these can be sent in bulk from the invoice overview page. However, this functionality is currently not available for quotes.
We've reviewed your idea and now it's up to the community to get behind and support it. Make sure you share your idea with any colleagues that this could benefit so they can add their vote too!

Quotes - Bulk send
Make the functionality of quotes similar to invoices, e.g. import quotes, bulk approve quotes, bulk send quotes. I recently had to send out 417 quotes for the same thing and they had to all be done individually which was extremely time consuming. If they had been invoices, I could've imported them on a spreadsheet, approved them all at once and sent them all at once. Instead each one had to be done individually.
4 votesAppreciate your liking to invoices in Xero, Angela. Each functionality would need to be considered in isolation so I've changed the title of your idea here for bulk sending.
We don't have any direct plans for this right now, but we'll begin to get a sense of the interest and keep you updated of any change, here.
You'll find an existing idea for import/export of quotes that you may like to join as well. If there's any other feature like this that you'd like to see welcome to start another idea. 🙂

Inventory - Check items on Quotes and Orders from Products and Services screen
When checking information on the inventory screen it would be extremely helpful if you could click on the 'In committed quotes' or 'Quantity on order' to see the customer or supplier to which they are assigned. Sometimes I need to chase a supplier for parts but have to waste time trawling through the purchase orders to track down who they have been order from. Likewise it would save time to be able to go straight to the customer quoted once an item has been received.

Quotes - Add optional items
IT would be really good to have the capability to add 'optional' items to a single quotation -
- example #1: supplying in quantities of 10, 25 and 50,
- example #2: there are five items in the 'basic quote' but the customer may choose to add items 6,7 and/or 8 but these aren't a fundamental requirement to include.
If there is a quotation tool, then being able to offer customer flexibility is important as issuing multiple quotes can appear unprofessional
