  1. Reports is now buried under Practice, can we please have it back on the main blue bar. We use it a lot and now there is more clicks. It would be amazing if we could edit the bar ourselves - what we find important might be different for someone else. Like settings, can we have a settings cog on the blue bar - maybe near the profile?

    Thanks for raising this with us here. It's good to get a a gauge of how the new Xero Partner Hub navigation is being received and what improvements would be most helpful. For now we'll track the interest for Reports on the main bar here.

  2. We used to be able to hit '/' and the search would come up, then you could type immediatley. Now you hit Search magnifying glass, then you start typing only to realise you now have to click into the search bar... Also, I'm getting a bunch of new tabs, I only want new tabs when I hold down command and click.

    Great to be getting all this detail on small changes that would make a big difference for you managing clients in your practice.

    We'll continue to track the support this idea receives and I'll let you know if there are any updates planned.

  4. On the client screen when you click on "Go to Xero" it should open in another tab not the not redirect the current browser page to Xero.

    Our product teams are monitoring feedback through the practice experiences beta closely and I'll be sure to let you know here if there are any improvements planned to enable opening in a new tab.

  5. In the old Xero HQ staff page, you could click on the staff member, add clients, then select any number of clients from the entire client list.

    With the new staff page layout, you can only select clients on the current page. If you move to the next page, the selection clears.

    Thanks for getting involved and sharing your support for this idea, team. We get the desire for more efficiency when assigning clients to staff.

    This is a feature our product team are working on at present and I'll share more as it's released for you all here.

  6. We are not able to search for clients (whilst in the Clients tab) using TFN or ABN.

    We are also not able to search using client's TFN or ABN when using Global Search.

    TFN and ABN are unique search identifiers and will return the correct client every time.

    Hi everyone, thank you for your support on the idea here.

    Right now, our product team are looking into the ability to search via TFN from the Client list.

    They're in exploration atm, so I'll keep you updated on further progress here.

  7. In the previous version of XPM, when updating a group member’s contact details (e.g. address), we had the option via a preview screen to confirm which fields to update and to whom else the update may apply to within that group. This functionality appears to be missing in the current Beta version.

    This feature made updating details across a client group more efficient.

  8. New Timesheet Entry - we prefer the old full page view of timesheets from the Dashboard Enter Time screen. You can't see the full page view with the timesheet notes now.

    Also, the notes entry window should be shown at all times, not be click to open. People will forget to enter their timesheet notes if it is not viewable at all times (like I just did). The time popout box hides some other entry points - like editing staff client access, it shows behind the time box, and it wouldn't shut, I had to hit refresh to get rid…

  9. Having the paid invoices in a separate archive folder is annoying. I used to be able to see the jobs and invoices in one screen, so having them separate is too many mouse clicks away and not immediately visible. Should be one screen for invoices, with a paid indicator next to it.

  10. The new beta job creation doesn't do anything the old one didn't do, everything is just either bigger or surrounded by more white space so there's less information on screen at once. It feels great on a touchscreen on an iPad, but I would assume most users are on a desktop where the experience is now just worse.

  11. The ability to select multiple tax returns that are completed and have the quick action to approve or move it to out to sign or to sign state in the old Xero Practice Manager - Tax Manager is great. Unfortunately, this was removed in the new Beta version. Please bring this back.

    It's annoying to file a tax return we need to open one by one. Ok if we only have 1 or 2. At some point we can have more than 10 returns to lodge at the same time.

  12. A function to create tasks and recurring tasks to show on your dashboard, much like Google Tasks. A basic To-Do list that shows recurring tasks that you need to complete every month for each client. This links in with XPM as a CRM system.

    We'll start to track the support in this here. As you'll have seen our product team are highly engaged with the feedback coming in on this and I'll make sure to let you know if there are any updates for this in the works.

  13. The Jobs List on the Old Home Page is a useful tool as it shows the status of Jobs allocated to you with out having to navigate away. This is important when more than one member of staff is allocated to a job. Allows you to know when to review or if a job has been sent for approval without navigating away from the home page.

    Hi Glennis, Milestones aren't available from the new Xero Partner Hub homepage, however if you'd like to use this you can still switch back to the old Dashboard.

    Right now our product team are watching the feedback through this forum closely, and we'd like to gauge the interest from others for this on your idea.

  15. The date a Note is created needs to remain as the date on the Note.

    When a Notes is edited the date changes to the date it was edited. This needs to remain as the date the Note was created not changed everytime a Note is edited. For instance if it is used for incoming or outgoing mail and the letter was sent or received on the 30/09/2025 this needs to remain as the 30/09/2025. Currently if someone updates the Note on the 03/10/2025 the Note date changes to the 03/10/2025, so you no longer know when the letter was…

  16. So when on home Practice Hub Per User- A Widget you can link your favourite Clients in a Widget for easy quick access to their Xero Files.
    Similar to Favorites Clients on ATO Home Screen.

    For now, we'll shift to in discovery and I'll give you another update as it moves along.

  18. It would be AMAZING if we could have some useful management reports, like monthly Team Performance by staff member with KPI data (write offs $, write off %, ROI, Average charge rate, total invoiced, closing WIP) and Practice Performance over the same metrics :)

    Also some dashboard widgets that show these metrics personal to the user on their home page.

  20. Previously in Xero HQ you could invite a new staff member and immediately assign clients to them - This was efficient. Now the staff member has to accept the invite first before any clients can be assigned.
