XPH | Navigation - Reports on the main bar
Reports is now buried under Practice, can we please have it back on the main blue bar. We use it a lot and now there is more clicks. It would be amazing if we could edit the bar ourselves - what we find important might be different for someone else. Like settings, can we have a settings cog on the blue bar - maybe near the profile?
35 votesHi team, thank you for feeding back to us about the selection of reports on the navigation with us here.
For the time being we're continuing to track interest in having reports as a top level menu but this is not something we have direct plans of.
With regards to the favourite of reports in the new Xero Partner Hub. I recently provided an update on this idea - Our team have made an improvement so you can now Favourite reports from your My reports tab of the Practice reports builder and these'll appear within the Favourites section of the Practice drop down menu.
Similarly, if you previously favourited reports in the old experience these should now be showing from the Practice drop down.

Clients - "Go to Xero" to open in another tab
On the client screen when you click on "Go to Xero" it should open in another tab not the not redirect the current browser page to Xero.
45 votesThanks for letting us know the changes that would make a difference for you when working with clients, Christopher.
Our product teams are monitoring feedback through the practice experiences beta closely and I'll be sure to let you know here if there are any improvements planned to enable opening in a new tab.

report builder favourites
The Favourite Reports tab currently displays only 6 favourites. Ideally, it would allow more than 6 favourites. If increasing the limit isn’t possible, it would be helpful to choose which 6 favourites appear in the dropdown.
Additionally, if the dropdown cannot show all favourites, it would be useful to have an alternative list or view that displays all starred favourites.

Practice Manager | Invoices - Invoices of all status in once screen with a Paid indicator
Having the paid invoices in a separate archive folder is annoying. I used to be able to see the jobs and invoices in one screen, so having them separate is too many mouse clicks away and not immediately visible. Should be one screen for invoices, with a paid indicator next to it.
14 votesWe appreciate you sharing feedback on the beta experience, Carol. We'll begin to get feedback and support for this through your idea. Our product teams are keeping a close eye on this forum and I'll be sure to share if there's any change planned

Jobs - View jobs on the side of screen
Job Page Hogs entire screen
- I'd assume majority are not blind and old. Old interface is so much better.
- I still want to see my jobs on the side.
- Change it, it's embarrassing.
8 votesAppreciate the feedback, Arnie. Our product team are staying close to the feedback we're receiving about updates in Jobs. It'd be good to see if there are others in the new experience that feel the same way.
I'll let you know if we have any further enhancements around the layout for you here.

Really hard to read and favourite reports "gone"
Scrap the changes - landing screen is hard to read - just glares and the mouse over shading is distracting. Jobs should be first or at somehow at the top like the old one. Favourite reports drop down should be reinstated not just as an after thought on the Practice tab. Rendering is clunky and boxes jump around before settling - ******* the eyes. Just feels like an amateur dev has been let loose and not really thought about how practices work! Not impressed with most of Xero's "improvements" to date - alot of neurodiverse and dyslexic people are really…

Xero Partner Hub - Milestones
Where do I find the dashboard milestones - it was my due tody, and overdue milestones. I can't find them in the new dashboard.
3 votesHi Glennis, Milestones aren't available from the new Xero Partner Hub homepage, however if you'd like to use this you can still switch back to the old Dashboard.
Right now our product team are watching the feedback through this forum closely, and we'd like to gauge the interest from others for this on your idea.

XPH - Clients etc should be clickable in all areas of XPM
Clients, jobs, contacts etc should be clickable in all areas of XPM. Im in a job, and the client is displayed to the right, I can't click it to go to the client record. Likewise, on timesheets, clients and jobs should be clickable. This saves a large amount of time.
3 votesThank you for sharing your idea about making client, job, and contact names clickable in all areas of XPM/XPH. We’ve heard consistent feedback from our partners and users that this would improve efficiency, and workflows.
We want to acknowledge that this feedback and we recognize the value of this suggestion and are keen to see how much support it receives from the wider community. If this is a feature that would make a difference for you and your team, please add your vote and share your specific use cases in the comments. Your input helps us prioritize what matters most to our customers as we continue to evolve XPM and XPH🌟

Recent Organisations - ability to view recent orgs and search has gone in XPM
The beta has "Recent Organisations" in the dropdown under the practice name, but nothing is coming up and there is no ability to search.
Please can we have this reinstated - I don't want to have to go to the clients screen or Xero HQ to get to a client's Xero file every time I open up XPM
1 voteThanks for letting us know this feedback here, Nickie. I've made sure to share this back with our product team and will let you know as soon as I hear any updates. Thanks again 🙂

Time Summary Widget Navigation
We love the graphical representation of the weekly timesheet. However, we would love to be able to navigate to prior weeks to also view them as a graph

Xero Partner Hub - Expand notes entry space
For boxes that we are typing into, we need to expand the box, so we can see the full view, not a scrolling box that cuts information off. In the normal XPM, you can grasp the corner and expand it out. Please bring this back.
1 voteHi Glennis, after looking into this further, it sounds like this relates to the Notes field within a client’s record.
At the moment, the field expands as you type, but after several lines it stops expanding and instead introduces a scroll bar. This means reviewing and updating notes involves additional scrolling, particularly when working with a lengthy note.
This idea has now been updated to Gaining Support, and we’d encourage others in the community to share their thoughts, use cases, or vote if this would be valuable for them too. Thanks again for starting the conversation, your input helps shape future improvements.
