  1. In the current/old XPM, the system would let you know on the home page if there was a filing error on a tax return. This meant you were able to see and sort this quickly. Can we please have a Taxes widget which includes a notification when there is an error in a tax return marked as signed (so we can fix things asap).

    Appreciate the feedback and hearing what information would be most useful for you on the new Xero Partner Hub homepage.

    This is something our product team have eyes on for the longer term but there are a few other pieces of work lined up first.

    For now we'll continue to track interest of this here and I'll share as soon as there are any updates.

  2. would be good to be able to resize the widgets to show more of what is important to us individually ie: I would like to be able to make the job widget bigger to show more jobs and shrink the time summary which is not important for my particular role

    Hi team, thanks for sharing this! We can see how resizable widgets would make the Partner Hub feel more tailored to each practice. Some teams might want a big view of their Alerts, while others prefer a compact Time Summary—being able to adjust widget sizes would make the dashboard feel more like your own workspace.

    Currently, fixed-size widgets can make key information feel crowded or require extra clicks to see more rows of data.

    We’ve moved this idea to Gaining Support so our product teams can understand the demand for a more flexible dashboard. We’d love to hear from you—which widgets would you most like to expand or resize?

  4. Getting people's names correct is table stakes.

    My name has an accent on the e - Rémi - but it comes up on XPH as "Rémi". I would not want my staff's names, or client names, appearing amiss. Not sure if this would then flow through to invoices.

    Hi everyone, thanks for your engagement on this idea! We completely understand why it matters, especially for our global Partners. A person’s name is a big part of who they are, and having to simplify or change it just to fit into a software field can be frustrating and confusing.

    We’ve moved this idea to ‘Gaining Support’ so our product teams can see its impact. Are there particular characters or languages where you notice this most?

    Hi team, we recognise that staying on top of disconnected or expiring bank feeds is important for keeping workflows running smoothly.

    We hear that having a dedicated view or alert on the Practice Homepage would make it easier to manage bank feed refresh across clients, rather than only picking up issues when working in a specific file.

    This is now in Gaining Support so we can gather interest and share how this could make day-to-day practice management easier.

  6. Time summary on home page. It would be great if we could have a seven day view on the main page as not all work is completed within traditional business hours.

    I was sure that it showed me seven days last week but I am wondering if this updates if there are weekend entries?

    Appreciate your feedback, Kerry. Currently the time summary widget is based around capacity which is only Mon-Fri. However, our product team are keen to get a better sense of interest around this and will be keeping a watchful eye on the support in this idea.

  7. It would be AMAZING if we could have some useful management reports, like monthly Team Performance by staff member with KPI data (write offs $, write off %, ROI, Average charge rate, total invoiced, closing WIP) and Practice Performance over the same metrics :)

    Also some dashboard widgets that show these metrics personal to the user on their home page.

    It’s clear that manually checking each client organisation to see if a bank feed has dropped out can take up valuable time.

    We hear you that a central view or alert on the Practice Homepage would make it easier to spot connection issues across your client base and address them before they affect month-end work.

    As mentioned, surfacing this in a homepage widget would reduce the need to check individual files and make it easier to stay on top of feed status.

    I’ve added this to Gaining Support so we can track interest and share with our product team how this at-a-glance visibility could improve day-to-day practice management.

  10. Customisable graph/table colours would be excellent, even if it were just 2 or 3 preset options. The blue/red default is a bit harsh.

    Hi everyone, thanks for the suggestion! We understand that having more control over how your dashboard data looks would make it easier to interpret your practice’s performance at a glance. Customising graph and table colours isn’t just about aesthetics—it helps the data stand out in a way that fits your reporting needs or brand.

    We know that adding more flexibility here would make it easier to focus on the metrics that matter most. We’ve moved this idea to Gaining Support so we can track interest and share with our product teams how visual customization could enhance your daily experience in Xero Practice Manager.

  11. A function to create tasks and recurring tasks to show on your dashboard, much like Google Tasks. A basic To-Do list that shows recurring tasks that you need to complete every month for each client. This links in with XPM as a CRM system.

    Appreciate the feedback, Ben. We'd like to track the interest in this spelling through your idea here. Both ways of spelling this are correct and 'lodgments' currently aligns with how ATO's spelling of this.

  14. Activity Statements Widget, it would be able to click on the columns and got to a filtered view of the activity statements. Also it would be good to be able to filter by partner/manager. On of the big issues with auto created BAS/IAS is the is not parter/manager assigned to them if we could get a filter for partner/manager based on the partner/manager set in the client file it would be fantastic.

    Hi everyone, it’s helpful to hear that the Activity Statements widget could do more to support quick oversight. Being able to filter by Partner or Manager and click through to those filtered views sounds like it would make it much easier to stay on top of workloads and keep deadlines visible across the practice.

    For now, a good option is to run the full Activity Statement report and use the filters there to drill into specific staff portfolios.

    I’ve moved this idea to Gaining Support so we can keep track of interest and help our product teams see the value of adding more interactivity and staff-level filtering here.

    Thanks for sharing your feedback on the new Partner Hub timer experience. This is essential for the Product team to glean what is working and what is not. We have moved this to Gaining Support so others can comment and vote on this idea and if there are any updates we will mention them here.

  16. Just like many other partners, we pay subscriptions on behalf of our customers. It will be very usefull that Xero permit suspends a client's license when they have not paid.

    Example, in many times we need to pay all licenses to prevent Xero suspend all licenses, so in that case Xero suspend licences for some customer, even those customers that paid on time. Otherwise, Partner has obligation to pay on time all licenses, so is very complicated suspend license for a few customers, that not pay on time.

    Hi everyone, thanks for raising this suggestion. It’s clear that managing practice cash flow is a key priority, and having a way to handle client access when accounts are overdue would help streamline credit control. We hear that manually adjusting permissions or subscriptions in these situations can take time, and a more centralised approach would be helpful.

    As noted in the thread, the current process involves manually updating client or staff permissions, or adjusting subscription settings where needed.

  17. XPH colour - can we have something a little more lively then grey? Tax isn't all that exciting as it is and the grey instead of the green that it used to be (or even a nice blue) just feels a little torturous

  18. On the Partner Hub, it would be nice to see a number of uncompleted tasks or the number of transactions that need to be reconciled. This would prevent us from having to open each client to see what still needs to be completed.

    Hi Landon, thanks for the feedback. It’s clear that needing to move away from your main dashboard to check unreconciled items or open tasks adds extra steps to your workflow.

    We hear you that having key counts like unreconciled bank items and open job tasks shown directly on the Overview homepage would make it easier to plan your day as soon as you log in.

    As a quick note, you can currently add an “Unreconciled items” column to the Client List, which helps show this information in , though we understand it’s not the same as having it available on the main homepage.

    This is now in Gaining Support so we can track interest and share with our product team how bringing these key indicators into the homepage could improve day-to-day visibility and workflow management.

  19. The timer icon looks almost just like a circle, the hour hand is tiny, it's barely distinguishable from the magnifying glass next to it, so it's hard to know what it means. How about using a picture of a stopwatch or copy the icon used by the iphone.

    Hi Shery, appreciate your suggestion. We understand that when you’re switching between client work and your practice dashboard, quick access really matters.

    While you can get to practice tools through the organisation menu today, having a one-click shortcut to the Xero Partner Hub from the homepage would make things faster and more seamless.
