XPH | Homepage - Show tax Filing Errors
In the current/old XPM, the system would let you know on the home page if there was a filing error on a tax return. This meant you were able to see and sort this quickly. Can we please have a Taxes widget which includes a notification when there is an error in a tax return marked as signed (so we can fix things asap).

Hi team, thanks for continuing to engage, and share the importance of easily viewing tax filing errors from the Xero Partner Homepage with us here.
Right now, for AU Practices there are a few tax widgets available that those with View tax return permissions will be able to view.
Both Activity Statements, and Income tax returns widgets will show returns with lodgment errors.
We're also in the process of developing tax widgets for NZ practices and I'll be sure to update you with more on this once it's ready 😊

On the old dashboard, it was very easy to quickly see if any tax returns had discrepancies or errors with the Tax Alerts function.
This made it easy to identify and resolve issues early. With the new homepage, that visibility is reduced, and these issues are more likely to be picked up later.
It would be really helpful to have this Tax Alerts functionality brought back as a widget or alert on the homepage, highlighting:
- Tax returns with errors
- Returns that differI think this would align well with the new homepage's focus on surfacing key actions and insights, especially for those managing multiple clients.

This should not be a "longer term" addition... this is vital to accountancy firms, we need to be able to see tax returns that do not match IRD assessments and tax returns that have failed to file
