Clients – Improve XPM client edit screen (whitespace & layout)
The new client information page has too much white space but the layout with the headings bigger and the line helping you to track from the heading to the actual data is OK. However when you click 'edit details' that all changes.
• the 'old' version only showed the headings and you could expand each heading to find the places you wanted to update. Much easier to scroll through.
• The new layout has too much white space, there is no clear difference between the headings and the titles – too much wasted time scrolling up and down trying to locate the information to update
• sections with drop down options have the title of the drop down populated in the same font and colour as those section where you have actually chosen something from the list, making it difficult to identify which section has information and what is actually ‘blank’.
Please consider the following changes for the Edit screen
• make the headings bigger, move them to the left and consider changing the colour
• remove the excess white space
• put the name of the section next to the section rather than on top of it (same as the layout on the information screen)
• remove the name of the drop down list from that section and just leave the icon so we know there is a drop down list available

An upgrade should be an improvement, the new layout is not user friendly, there is too much white space, the icons and widgets are too big; it is difficult to navigate

I feel like there is too much white space in a lot of the new screens, but particularly in the job information page - this is so much harder to read & use, there are no clear sections or headings (especially when custom fields are being used) making it very messy and confusing.

The new layout is definitely not as user friendly as the previous version.
- searching and clicking on a client in the Global Search now automatically opens in a new Tab. If i go back to the first page to search for another client, it opens on that second Tab, not another new one. (unless you search when you are already on a client's file)
- entering a Title; now have to scroll through the whole list to find "Mr" "Ms", etc - used to be able to start typing and it would populate a shorter list
- business structure is now buried down the page - we used that as a reference all the time, and now we have to go looking for it
- adding a contact (to an existing client, when creating a new Job) used to have drop down options (for title etc), and could search for current clients (possibly pre-filling contact details?)
- in the previous version, the Notes used to be close to the ABN details - We used that to write info about the ABN ie dates active and cancelled.I'm sure there's more, but these are some definite bug bears that are causing admin to spend more time creating and editing clients

Our admin team is also not enjoying the new layout. Definitely not as clear and user friendly as it was. Bring back the old layout.

Our team are also really struggling with the new layout. It is much less user friendly and we seem to have lost functionality such as being able to star the head entity of a group. Is it possible to have a classic version with the original view?
There are also bugs in the fields when updating clients, such as date fields. Meanwhile logically functional improvements such as being able to see notes for all clients in a group at the same time have been overlooked.
We also used to see all quotes on the one screen, now you have to click archived to see the old ones. Little issues like this end up wasting a lot of time when you have 15 people using the software all day.

as the Admin Manager for our firm, my team is constantly adding new clients, updating client info before appts, etc. The new layout is awful, agree that there's way too much white/blank space. Also missing that you could just open/close the sections that you need, rather than endlessly scrolling. Also agree that formatting of sections/headers/etc needs rethinking. Entity/Display Name should also have a 'copy' option next to it rather than having to highlight (as great new feature they've applied to TFN/ABN/ACN). On an entity card, the fact 'Referral Source' is the first detail displayed is bizarre. Verified Indiv is entered under 'Client' but once saved, its viewed under 'Tax'. Also can't seem to Archive/Restore a client on their screen, instead have to go back to the Client list window, tick or 3dots to archive. There's probably more but they are the main issues I've faced so far.
