XPH - Bulk address change from Client group
In the old XPM we could bulk update client addresses for a client group, this functionality appears to have dropped off the new version, can we have it back please?
Hi everyone, thank you for continuing to share how important efficient group address updates are.
Great to see some have seen the update already - We’re pleased to share that bulk address updates are now available in Xero Partner Hub. When you save a Street or Postal address change for a Client, you’ll be prompted to apply it to related clients, with the option to review whether each address will be added, replaced or left unchanged before confirming.
We appreciate how restoring this capability makes it more efficient to keep group records consistent. Thanks again for feedback here and helping us improve the new client experience.

Finally, Xero realised what a dumb mistake they made on this and I am glad we all made some noise!
Happy weekend.

About time! Although, just having trialed it, it is very inconspicuous in the bottom left hand corner of the screen and it's almost a case of blink & you miss it! Word of warning though, if you don't click on it straight away it will disappear after several seconds...Still, better than nothing and it's only taken them 8 months...

It's back!! I've just updated an address and a pop up in the bottom left corner asked if I wanted to update the rest of the group. Thank goodness!!

Now that you have finished rolling out the new Partner Hub, can you concentrate on fixing this dysfunctional issue please?

Wasn't going to comment here again but saw Margo's post. It has been way to long since they said they would reinstate this feature. And what seems to be happening is other roll outs in favour of the ideas that keep getting requested. I noticed a pop up regarding the ability to add a new type of address. Yep... we can now add Register Address for companies. Still can't bulk update group addresses but we can add an address that for most of our clients is actually our own address (in our case we act as register office for about 99% of our corporate clients). So, the last thing I needed was a place to put my address in several hundred times. Would have much preferred the efforts going into addressing this thread properly. Xero should run regular meetings with the Devs so they can see all of us USERS (bold and underline if I could) making practical requests.

Xero have not looked at this since February 2026 and it would seem do not intend to - the Product Team has been too busy getting the new Practice Hub up and working - goodness only knows what issues that will bring. The fact that this is still under "An idea you follow" says it all.
I just tried to do an import file of a client group change of address in XPM - does not work. This used to work. Accountants and their support staff work on a time cost basis - so much time wasted since this feature has been removed. -

People update software to improve its functionality and user experience, not to go backwards. Having to update the address for a group of clients one by one is extremely time-consuming and inefficient.

Exactly what I expect from Xero these days....nothing! No response for 6 month, no fix for something that was already previously available, absolutely nothing.

This issue has taken way too long to address. Hurry up and figure out a fix ASAP please.

Email today "Spending too much time on admin? Don’t miss these updates." Is this a joke. As someone that is responsible for a lot of the behind the scenes admin work you took away such an important function that has only increased my workload, so I really struggle with the subject of this email received today. Clearly this thread alone proves how detrimental this has been to many people's workload and yet you do nothing to re-instate it.

This address bulk update feature needs to be resorted ASAP... not good enough Xero!

I cannot agree more with Tanya McNamara's comment below!!!
It astounds me that a feature that was so useful was taken away & the suggested workaround "bulk update process via import" would be very time consuming. The sooner this feature is reactivated, the better!!! -

This feature needs to be returned. Given that XPM is a practice management tool - it's an absolute waste of precious time to individually have to update client details and apply to each client within a group. Come on Xero - you should be moving forwards not backwards.

Its taking long because they realised they can't easily reverse it.
Its really annoying and I think exisiting Xero users should be compensated with a price reduction, not slapped with an increase in costs every year.
@Xero - an ETA on this would be great???

Why is it taking so long to put back a feature that already existed and, because you don't actually listen to the people that use XPM, you removed it for not good reason? I don't understand why it needs to be "in development" when it was already a fully functioning tool available for our use.

Client Group Address Update Link - this was available prior to the XPM update and was a useful tool. It's a time consuming process to update individually.
Would be great to see this reinstated - loss of functionality is not progress. Please bring it back!

I just completed a Xero survey where you asked, amongst other time-wasting questions because you are already not listening to us, if Xero is responsive to customer feedback! Based on the next-to-nil response above to this forum, I think you can guess my reply!!
Most online programs our office uses (where the customer has no choice about the content of updates) strive to improve and add to the customer experience, not take things away and make the whole thing harder like Xero has done!

Please prioritise this as it was an extremely useful feature that was stripped away when XPM was "updated"
It's extremely inefficient to have to manually update every single client within a group and ensure consistency.
