Tax Manager - Save Filters
You can apply filters, but it would be good to be able to save filters so that they can be used again. Basically the same function that is in Job Manager.

Hi team, really good to hear your feedback on what could improve your experience with new Tax Manager which is currently in beta.
We're listening to the feedback we're receiving about this from our community and while not in the works just yet, the ability to save custom filters is a feature we plan to develop.
You can get more of a view of what's to come in Tax Manager through Xero Central, and I'll keep you updated here once this idea progresses with the team.

Another voting the need to save the filters to restore the basic functionality that was in the system that has been broken as a result of these 'improvements'. While we are tere, please restore the feature that updated the total count of the returns in the various stages by filtered partner or manager so the people trying to get through the work can actually see the number of returns at the various stages for their jobs. This is another aspect of the software that has worked, for a long long time, and has now been broken resulting in a loss of data if not fixed. A long long long way from beautiful xero.

Surprised that the previous case "Filter by Partner & Manager" was so quickly marked as complete and closed, when the main point of that case for some of us was that the new tax manager is basically ineffective for us without the ability to SAVE the FILTERS! Please bring it back - this was an essential function under the old tax manager, and it seems counter-productive to roll out a new "improved" product that removes previously available functions.

100% this needs to be brought into the new Tax - I agree that I like the additional features you've brought in, but don't throw out the previous features we depended on!
Our firm is very team-centric and we prepare thousands of tax returns a year for each team. I need to be able to seamlessly switch back and forth between my different team filters as I used to, rather than having to clear all and find the multiple managers of the next team in the (unsearchable) staff list!
This will cost our admin team a lot of time if not fixed!

My first day on the new hub and can't believe that this wouldn't have been on Xero's radar.
I do like the look of the new Tax Manager but please give us our saved filters. -

Creating and saving custom filters in the new XPM tax manager.
The new tax manager is great and the 'ready to start' feature is fantastic however this is going to eventually replace the current tax return section in XPM. We currently create and save custom filters in this section. Whilst I can see the new tax manager has the same functionality for filtering returns, you cannot save these as custom filters, once you leave this section the filter removes. -

I absolutely agree, the previous format allowed filters to be saved - especially useful when filtering to a certain reporting period. Or filtering TAX vs AS returns - this is a critical option
