Tax Manager - Bulk actions for selected tax returns.
The ability to select multiple tax returns that are completed and have the quick action to approve or move it to out to sign or to sign state in the old Xero Practice Manager - Tax Manager is great. Unfortunately, this was removed in the new Beta version. Please bring this back.
It's annoying to file a tax return we need to open one by one. Ok if we only have 1 or 2. At some point we can have more than 10 returns to lodge at the same time.

Hi everyone, we understand interest and how bulk action in the new Tax Manager would improve efficiency when preparing tax for your clients.
Tax Manager is a new experience that is currently in beta in Xero Partner Hub. Bulk actions high on the list of what's coming soon as we build features into this experience.
We appreciate the importance of bulk actions to everyone here and will be sure to update you all as soon as this is rolled out.

Removing the Bulk Lodgment in the Beta Version is a giant step backwards. for this product and is like the other upgrades being pushed through via Xero which is receiving the same sort of feedback.
I agree with other comments about colours and its visual impact all over.
It is creating a mess on screen and making it much more difficult to read.
What is happening with these upgrades. Are they designed by an actual user of the Xero products anymore

the Tax Manager worked well, it was easy to use, easy to read. i dont need a different color tile for each client, i dont want to scroll up & down to find things. I want to be able to bulk lodge. i want information to be easy to find & view. i dont need lollypop colours on my screen

Dont like that you now have to open each return to lodge and you can select bulk returns to sign and lodge

This looks like a rebuild of the UI from the ground up so I would say it has not been removed but rather not added yet.

It is incomprehensible to understand why this feature was removed. A decision made by a non-tax practitioner no doubt.

This is a basic and critical feature. My goodness - I cannot believe this has been removed. I am very glad I checked for reviews and feedback before enabling the new partner hub. We will not be moving over until this is fixed. This is used by everyone in our practice to move tax returns across states in bulk. Admin, Accountants, Managers and Partners. Also agree with Rochelle - icons for locked & suspended returns and NoA processing is used by our practice regularly.

Bulk update functionality is critical, particularly for filing. The Tax Agent is required to complete the “filing” step, as this action formally stamps the return as filed by the Tax Agent.
The bulk update option enables this process to be completed efficiently and accurately in minutes. Without it, we are expecting our Tax Agent, who has the highest charge-out rate, to spend up to an hour during peak periods completing repetitive administrative tasks that add no value and significantly reduce efficiency.

There is another task that is similar to this and I put this comment on that one as well.
Cant lodge in Bulk.
Cant see which ones are locked to lodge.
Cant see which ones are suspended.

Lodging Activity Statements in the past, I could tick off multiple to sign and file in bulk. Now it seems I need to log into each one individually. This seems like a big efficiency step backwards. Is this still a work in progress and the tick box is still coming, or am I missing something??
