  1. The new beta job creation doesn't do anything the old one didn't do, everything is just either bigger or surrounded by more white space so there's less information on screen at once. It feels great on a touchscreen on an iPad, but I would assume most users are on a desktop where the experience is now just worse.

    Thanks for your feedback on our updates to Jobs within the practice experiences beta. Our team are following and considering all feedback we receive through this forum very closely and I'll be sure to let you know if there are any updates.

  2. The list of jobs at a client level and Group level no longer displays the start date. Only due date is showing.
    This functionality was available before. I am not sure why it was omitted. Helps team members to review and prioritise jobs for a Group based on the start date when the job was received or has been scheduled to start.

  3. Please bring back the filter/toggle option for Client column in Jobs page of a Group (like what you can currently do with Name column). This was a handy function in the old layout.

  5. It would be helpful to add additional filters to the jobs on the dashboard so that you could filter out certain job states and see true workflow for jobs that are due at that point in time.

    Appreciate you letting us know how filters on the Jobs widget in the new XPH homepage would be useful.

  7. Prior to the update, using a third party application for propsals/job setups, would imbed a URL link to the job, so you could confirm tasks and prices that were proposed. You could select the link, and it would take you to the document, but now, you need copy and paste the link in the browser? What happened to this feature? Specifically, this has happened for the Practice Ignition platform.

  8. Enter Time - you have to put in start time. It should default to your last time entry like it does under view timesheets.

  9. Since the recent updates, we've noticed that once a return is marked as “archived”, it no longer appears within the job it was originally created in. Previously, archived returns remained accessible through the job.

    Could you please reinstate the ability to view archived returns within their associated job?

  12. It would be good to have the ability to quickly update the due date of a job either directly from the XPH homepage under the 'Jobs assigned to me as staff' or from the client 'Jobs' section without having to go into each job and edit the due date. Or both options would be great too!

  15. Xero Practice Manager currently allows bulk job state changes only through the Job Manager interface or via API integrations. However, there is no native feature to bulk upload a CSV file to update job states for existing jobs. This limitation creates inefficiencies for practices managing large volumes of jobs, especially when correcting errors or applying workflow changes across hundreds of jobs.

    Proposed Solution:
    Introduce a Bulk CSV Upload for Job Updates feature in XPM that:

    Matches existing jobs using Job Number as a unique identifier.
    Allows updating specific fields such as:

    Job State
    Priority
    Assigned Staff

    Provides a preview screen…

  16. Job Notifications - new notifications do not open up until you open an existing job (so we do not know that they are even there until you open the job)..Suggest Job Notifications should open when entering Job Manager (i.e. One level up).
