Thanks for the continued support and feedback shared here, everyone. Totally appreciate wanting to save clicks and improve the efficiency of logging in to use Xero.

Our product team have reviewed this and it's something they'd like to take a closer look into longer term, however isn't roadmapped just yet.

As soon as there's any progress to update you of I will share with you all.

It drives me nuts that this suggestion needs "the community to get behind and support it" ... for goodness sake XERO - just do it!!

I use numerous websites/apps every day and they all have this as a standard, eminently useful/sensible feature.

Seems completely bonkers to me that this inefficiency is a feature of XERO.

Hi community, thank you for all the engagement and we can see the growing interest in improvements to help simplify your view of information on the new Homepage and navigate important information and insights with more ease.

Right now, our team have a few pieces of work underway intended to help with some of the pain points that have been raised here these include:

    • More options for the sizing of widgets so you can reduce these frames and better position this information on your screen
    • More customisation of information within a widget like being able to remove visuals
    • Improving the experience of moving widgets when editing the homepage to make it more obvious when dragging and dropping them to different positions on the page

We’ve also roadmapped further changes for later this year, once everyone is on the new experience. I’ll share more updates as we progress.

Hi team, thanks for staying engaged with us here. From your feedback our product teams clearly understand there are legitimate use cases and scenarios in which you’d like to be able to simply unapprove a bill.

While seemingly simple there is a bit of underlying work that needs to be done within Bills to enable us to build this functionality - As you’ll have experienced within the Bills list view - we’re in the process of uplifting the pages in Bills with updated technology that’ll unlock our ability to develop features like unapprove.

So, while it’s not in our roadmap atm, we’re tuned in here and will continue to assess how we may solve this as we plan our future roadmap. I’ll make sure to share any progress with everyone here.

Completely agree with Jane Anne Keane's post today (13 March 2026).

I find it astounding that XERO can thumb its nose at something that users really really want, and have been asking for, and patiently waiting a long time for it to eventuate, while creating a bloody messy user homepage that nobody actually asked for!

"It's a bit complicated" isn't really an acceptable reason to drag the chain, GET ON WITH IT XERO! Sick of waiting.

Less than impressed that rejigging the home page was more important.

Once again, this confirms to me that XERO is not especially interested in addressing the needs of its customers or understanding how users use XERO and the pain points we encounter.

XEROs response is basically "it's too hard" is disappointing to say the least.
