    Hi,

    We desperately need this feature too. Our invoices are issued on the first day of the following month for which services are rendered. The invoice reference contains the month of service. At the moment, we have to type the month manually every time.

    For example:

    Services are delivered in October 2023.
    Automatic invoice is created 01 November 2023. The reference should state October 2023. But the current placeholders do not allow [MONTH-1]. So we have to type the month manually.

    Please can this be addressed?

    Thanks for sharing this feedback. We agree that email notifications for upcoming VAT return deadlines would be useful, and we do plan to address this in the future. However, we’re unable to provide a timeframe for when this will be available at this stage.

    In the meantime, the VAT homepage widget shows your next return due date, along with a countdown showing the number of days remaining until the deadline.

    If you’re a Partner, you can also use Tax manager to view a list of your clients’ upcoming VAT obligations in one place, including their due dates.
