Hi community, we appreciate your feedback on the way invoice numbers are assigned within the flow of new invoicing and how this differs to classic.
Being open while we don't have plans to replicate the exact same behaviour from classic in new invoicing, this is a point that our product team are monitoring closely and we'll let you know here if there's any change to the behaviour planned.

Also despite what support said you cannot create a purchase order from an invoice.
Paying bills is also a hassle now as Xero try to force you to use their payments and charge a fee. Xero is going backwards fast.

Hi
Can you remove the roll out for the new invoicing. It is worse than the previous. If an invoice number is used it does not suggest the next Invoice number- a feature I use as import from Shopify and the way Shopify works I cannot synch Invoice numbers with Xero. Trying to edit is a pain, creating CN's etc. Another example of so called improvements that are worse.

This has still not been resolved- just tried it. Classic invoicing must not be retired until this is sorted.

It would help- some-times they seem to be unread/or in spam when I chase up.

Kelly, If this cannot be replicated I suggest you do not
retire classic. The trouble is your developers do not use the product in a work enviroment.
