    Hi community, we acknowledge the strong feelings in this idea and why you need a feature to flag bills directly within Xero. We really appreciate all your feedback and the detailed explanations of how this would help streamline your accounts payable.

    We are dedicated to providing a solution for this over the longer term, but this will take some time requiring changes that sit beneath the face of bills.

    In lieu of a direct feature for this we wanted to highlight some of the options discussed by the community here:

    • Add a note to the bill: A detailed note on the bill itself can serve as a clear internal reminder of the dispute.
    • Utilise tracking categories: Creating a specific tracking category like "Disputed Bills" can help you filter and report on these items.

    This is absolutely ridiculous; this is far more important than bills list views!! Yes there are work arounds but we shouldn't have to any other software even the old accredo had this function with the ability to add a reason why it is on hold.

    If it was up to me, I would change to something that already has this facility or takes its users seriously, beautify pages is not important some of the changes done have not improved views in my opinion. Another one that also seems to hard is to increase the number of items that can be included in a batch when making payments one of our suppliers has lover 300 every month so we have to do two batches to pay them.

    How long does it take to realise this is an important function, once everybody has had enough and found an alternative software package that focusus on what is important not on look.

    It is more important to have this on bills to be paid than on sales invoices, once a disputed bill is paid it is harder to get a resolution on the query/problem, come on xero!!

    This is far more important to me than the changes to the layout or look which worked perfectly ok before.
