Thanks for your expressions and feedback in a bulk download or print facility for Files (either from the Files library or at an individual transaction level)
We know that bulk operations can be handy, however at this time we have no plans to develop this functionality. We know it might seem like a small feat, however often even small change is more tightly woven and intricate to solve beneath the surface.
While we understand this must be frustrating to hear, we’re currently focused on making improvements in other areas of Xero and are unable to prioritise a bulk download or print feature right now.
However, in situations like these there are often connected apps through the Xero App Store that may be able to assist. We appreciate and will revise solutions that could fulfil needs in this space, but want to be honest this isn’t something we have plans for…An error occurred while saving the comment An error occurred while saving the comment Jeff Pudney commented
Two posting today about external solutions ( at a cost) to what should be resolved internally. Our local group has highlighted a hesitancy to use Xero in future when there is no understanding of this need to be integral to the actual software. Such a shame as originally Xero showed greta promise that it was not just another Sage or QB.

If making comment, or reading and agree, please also ensure that you vote for this idea as well. It is currently sitting just outside the top ten requested improvements. It is time for Xero to see how important this is to us all

Only 15 more votes for this item to be in the top ten listed ideas. Will this change Xeros attitude to this request? How Xero can ignore what is effectively a legal requirement, when designing an accounting solution that is being sold as automatic and saves time. To quote the website "Get copies of documents and key data stored into Xero automatically." - but does not mention you will not be ble to get it out again with ease!

Xero not interested in this feature
Hi Jeff
Thank you for reaching out to us, and I'm sorry to see your feelings on this feature not yet being available. As you have seen, we don't currently have an option to export all files and attachments from Xero in a single operation. I can absolutely see how this would be beneficial and, if not already done, I would highly encourage you to vote and contribute to the discussion on our Product Ideas forum.
Our Product Ideas page is the best place to express opinions and vote for suggested features. While this isn't the only deciding factor, the popularity of discussions is a major contributing factor to our Product Team's decisions around the future development of Xero - and more popular ideas will heavily influence the decision making around future updates.
At current, we don't have any immediate plans to develop this feature as our Product Team are currently prioritising the development of other areas of Xero. I appreciate this may be disappointing and frustrating to hear.
In the meantime, should you wish to use this functionality, you may find this is available through one of the app partners on our app marketplace.
I've included a link to an article for more information on linking and and connecting apps to your Xero organisation.
Xero Central article: Using connected apps with Xero
Kind regards
Jason

It looks like this only works in Aust/NZ, not the rest of the world

I now have grave concerns about Xero software given their update today. As the need is very obvious, I suggest that anybody who has commented makes sure that the they have voted for this issue to be resolved and asked other collegues to do the same. From a review of the topics list it is currently number 11 on the list and I am sure vote number would increase dramatically if all users understood the legal implications.
