Hi everyone, we'd like to return with an update for all who've supported the idea for attaching files within Payroll.
As we develop foundations of payroll to enable us to consider new features like this, we're beginning discovery of how we might build this capability and when this could be planned in our roadmap.
This is just the initial stages of diving deeper into this work, but steering in the right direction.
I'll be sure to share any progression around attachments within payroll with you all, here.

Hi everyone, I wanted to share another update regarding timesheet flexibility.
Our product team is currently working on a feature that will allow employees to add other unit-based earnings types directly to their timesheets via Xero Me. This means your team will soon be able to record allowances and other non-ordinary earnings pay items alongside their regular hours.
We know this has been a highly requested feature to help reduce manual adjustments for admins. We are currently in the development phase and will provide a further update here once we’re closer to a release date.

Just taken on a payroll client where we need to approve timesheet hours and then manually update the payslip with kms travelled. This would be a good feature to have.

Seems ridiculous that we need to double-handle bills from Hubdoc and then approve to a Project in Xero. We are working from remote sites sending in bills / expenses that we then have to re-enter for the projects.
Do better Xero and Hubdoc
