Thanks for your comments and emphasis on the bills side of things for the idea here. I've made sure this is shared with our team in this space.
Bills is an area we're continuing to develop with building on beautiful and I'll be sure to let you know here if there's any consideration made to change behaviour of this through the bills add and edit flow.

This would be amazing, especially paired with the ability to set a standard markup or margin so that when you entered a bill that saw the cost price on an item had increased then it automatically updates the sales price in inventory according to the standard margin or makeup set.

Hi everyone, we appreciate how automatically sending statements could improve cash flows, and save the manual efforts involved in this periodic task.
We recognise the importance of this functionality, and with a clear focus on decreasing the time it takes for our customers to receive payments, I’m pleased to share that this idea is now In discovery. 😊
While we can’t give any commitments to development yet, this is a good step in the right direction and we’ll be sure to update you on progress from the exploration here. Thanks!

Need the ability to set a standard markup or margin for a product. It would be really helpful to be able to set a margin between the cost price and the sales price of a product. When I add in supplier bills, I often discover that some inventory items have increased in cost. It would be ideal if I could update the price of the inventory item from within the New Bill process. So far I have to note down the changes then edit each inventory item separately from inside the Business menu. When New Bills feature an item that has a cost change. It would be incredibly helpful if any manipulation to the set cost price on an item at the New Bill stage would prompt a pop up that says, "Set this as the new default cost for SKU "X" and update the sales price using the standard markup.

Hi Kelly, it is more critical to be able to edit the inventory items from the Bills so that when we enter a Bill from our supplier if the cost of the inventory item has increased (as has been happening due to inflation) then we can quickly and easily update the sales price in the inventory so that we can maintain the correct margin on our products. Can you please extend the edit function from invoicing into bills as well.
