Hi Lilly, with Xero expenses you can upload a copy of a receipt and have it auto capture the contents to create an expense through the app - See more on this here
Is there a reason you'd prefer to email receipts to your org over the existing method? Will help when sharing back with the team.

When receiving a receipt via email the ability to just hit 'forward' and have it appear in Xero fully populated would save considerable time and effort compared to the current method of:
Print email > save to cloud based folder > open expense app > press capture > find file (in file system which doesn't remember the last used location) > select and upload file.Daniel Bond supported this idea · -

Hi James, to clarify would this be when using Xero Expenses app to submit receipts or when emailing bills to your organisation? Thanks
An error occurred while saving the comment Daniel Bond commentedFor anyone waiting for this feature I've fond a workaround, at least for iPhone users.
Open the email on your iPhone > Press reply > Press Print > On the print popup reverse pinch the preview at the bottom (like you're trying to zoom in) > This opens a new screen, press 'share' in the bottom left corner > Share to Xero Me > Press Analyse.
It will go into Xero Expenses and be analysed.
It's somewhat convoluted but has revolutionised my workflow!

Hi everyone, leading on from my last update we have now released improvements to eInvoicing for those in the UK! With the latest change you'll now find we've made it easier for you to opt-in to receive your Xero subscription bill via eInvoicing. You can now do this from your online invoice (My Bills page) instead of through the Billing contact page. Helping save you time and reduce manual data entry every month.😁
We understand there are other regions that'd still like to see this functionality developed and we'll shift back to submitted and share when there is news of moving this further afield.
We also wanted to address the recent comment of data sharing - We'd like to confirm that Xero do not share data with Peppol.com. We use the Peppol network and the subscription invoices are sent using our wholly owned provider, Tickstar.Daniel Bond supported this idea · -
